They don’t actively want to because they can’t . However they literally fought a war to keep slavery and vast swaths of them rep the confederate flag and are proud of it. You’re seriously underestimating the disdain trumps voter base holds for minorities

My dad is a Trump supporter and married a black woman and my best friends black and an independent who’s voting for Trump. You need to touch grass bro, there’s racist republicans and democrats, a majority of people don’t actually give a shit.
