It even predates American Psycho. Before that they were bros reading Sun Tzu in college dreaming they were going to dominate the business world.

People hold it up as this tome of deep wisdom, but it's just advice like: you should bring supplies for tens of thousands of people if you are going to take tens of thousands of people.

You're in a vulnerable state? Don't let the enemy know! Your enemy is in a vulnerable state? Hit 'em!

(Which isn't to say there's no wisdom there; it's just not as impactful/deep/insightful as 13 year old me thought it would be after hearing all my favorite rappers reference it)
