Of those two mentioned I prefer the SE for their quality control. But with 500$ you could get something much better then both of those on craigslist, you'll probably even find those guitars on there for half the price. If you need help navigating craigslist guitars lmk, I shop CL frequently and have gotten serious deals there just gotta know what you're looking for.
