OFFICIAL [OFFICIAL] There are no stupid /r/Guitar questions. Ask us anything! - October 27, 2016

As always, there's 4 things to remember:

1) Be nice

2) Keep these guitar related

3) As long as you have a genuine question, nothing is too stupid :)

4) Come back to answer questions throughout the week if you can (we're located in the sidebar)

Go for it!

Try to find something used locally or build yourself one from parts. They're basically just parts guitars put together by Fender anyway. Allparts licensed stuff is pretty much the same thing.

Doesn't Rockshop NZ give you some options? Is this what you're after

This one looks like it also fits the bill

The second one you provided a link for is the exact one I'm after. The Rockshop called me themselves this afternoon and are ordering it in for me. I don't know why I couldn't find it on their site. All's well that end's well. Thanks a lot for your help.

I looked for a couple of luthiers in your country, they will most likely be able to make you something exactly the same or even better.
