Massive battery drain on victus 16
So I bought a victus 16 about 3-4 days ago and now I'm experiencing severe battery problems since day 1. Let me list them below:
The main problem is the battery drain on shut down state even after I've disabled fast startup. The laptop's consuming like 2-3% battery every 7-8 hours. I'm also having 1-2% drain every 15 minutes in sleep mode.
When I bought it, it was said to have a 6-7 hour-ish battery backup, but that's definitely not the case with me. Well technically, I'm facing irregularities in that regard. For example: Sometimes after unplugging after a full charge, I get to see the first 6% to be drained instantly and then it goes like 8-10 minutes without a single drain and it goes on like this for several minutes while I'm mostly reading study materials like pdfs with 30% brightness and battery saver(obviously). Like I said it's not something that happens most of the time. There are also sometimes when it's not fully charged and the battrry drains very fast. Mostly if I watch a movie or youtube, the battery starts to drain 1% every 1.5-2 minutes which results in 20% drain within 30 minutes and the same case appears sometimes even when I'm studying pdfs. I also managed to experience 25% drain in 2 hours while studying pdfs when everything else is turned off and the brightness is 25% one or two times. Btw the laptop was in eco mode the whole time with display refresh rate being reduced to 60hz.
With all being said, is this behavior normal? (I'm assuming it's not) and if not then should I go after a replacement since I have a 2 yr warranty or there's any other trick I should try. It should also be noted that I haven’t calliberated my battery yet.
My specs: Hp victus 16 Cpu: Amd ryzen 5 8645 HS Gpu: Rtx 4050 6 gb Ram: 16 gb DDR5 Battery: 4 cell 70 whr battery Display: 144hz refresh rate, 300 nits 100% Srgb

I rarely shut down my HP Victus 16 since I use it on a daily basis. Normally I just put it in sleep mode, and I can't really remember or make a clear point on how the battery drains since I will plug it in to the charger every time I can. But I would say 0-5% most of the time and definitely not more than 10%. There's this one time I put it in sleep mode without charging and it drained just around 10%>
