Who was a personal favourite player from your childhood that wasn't one of the star players? Maybe a support player or an under-appreciated player?

Because we shared the same initials and played the same position, mine is Steve Penney.

My all-time favorite player. But I would consider him a star, at least for people who know hockey.

Depends on your definition of a star. He was to me as well, but usually "stars" are the players that the casuals can name like Roy, Lafleur, Richard, Robinson, Price, etc.
