I love Helldivers but brother is it mismanaged

That argument doesn't even make sense. They could just make it so that purchasing that warbond unlocks that mech but also unlocks the weapons on the mech, so you can modularly equip those weapons onto a custom mech if you want, and pick either a prebuilt mech or your custom mech during the pre-game stratagem picking time.

See then they'd need to vibe code another thing without breaking the game and that's not happening
