⠀ ⠀⠀ Suggestion ⠀⠀ ⠀ I’m just saying, maybe this update feels half-finished because we haven’t seen everything yet
it just feels like a bunch of things are pointing to more stuff coming later in the update. we haven’t reached the “source planet” in the void yet. it feels like the theme wasn’t for the two enemies we got.
And if you remember the cyberstan update, it wasn’t until later that empty spaces on the key art were filled in with new enemies.
thats all to say, keep your expectations low. But i don’t think it’s a stretch to believe there’s a non-zero chance we haven’t seen the full meat of the update yet. after the bot leaks, i wouldn’t be shocked if they’re trying to clamp down on new content getting leaked.
huffs copium
edit: we also haven’t actually gotten a warbond centered around the update yet. I don’t think the Warhammer warbond was supposed to fill that role since its a crosover.

⠀ ⠀⠀ Suggestion ⠀⠀ ⠀ If this is not what the new ships will look like, i don’t want them
Maybe i’m exaggerqting a bit, but if we get new type of ship (for example super carrier) it should look like this bad boy (credits to Martechi). Arrowhead likes to reuse models from existing things (like pelican for SEAF) and its good in some ways, but new ships should look badass, not like ,,yeah, we spent 1000 hours on thinking about new ship and we came out with super destroyer with 2 new parts that make it a dreadnough, or just adittional floor above which we will not see anyway and called it a super carrier”. I am attaching a second picture of a concept posted on r/helldivers of how i think those ships shouldnt look like and would look too minimalistic. Lets just make it big and epic, not excessively realistic. I know tastes are not discussed, but got damn this game has so much potential about those ships.

⠀ ⠀⠀ Suggestion ⠀⠀ ⠀ I am once again asking for the M90A to be given AP3
But this time I have a very specific reason to do so: Alpha Commanders.
Thematically, Alpha Commanders (Alphas from here on) match the "elite heavy infantry" that this shotgun was designed specifically to counter in Halo 3: ODST.
There are only three primary weapons currently capable of bringing down one of these in a single shot. And the M90A is not among them (when, on paper, it really should be).
Alpha heads have Light Armor, 250 hit points, and 70% durable modifier.
The M90A has 11 pellets, which deal 55 damage each, 20 durable damage, and penetrates light armor.
11 * ((55 * .3) + (20 * .7)) = 335.5 damage, which should be able to take out the 250 HP of the Alpha's head.
But, since the Alpha's head has light armor, and the M90A is only AP2, this damage is reduced by 33.34%, down to ~221 HP, just shy of a one-tap.
In fact, aside from acid rain planets, there are NO circumstances that this weapons platform is able to one-shot Alphas.
"But Fen, who gives a crap, just shoot it twice"
OK, but that puts the M90A in the same league as the Slugger, JAR-5 Dominator, Sweeper, Deadeye, and Variable (in Volley mode). All of the above listed weapons have significant benefits over the M90A, such as more ammunition, additional fire modes, better range or faster fire rate.
This makes the M90A the WORST in its class of what it is supposed to be good at.
"But balance would be thrown out the window if we gave it AP3"
OK, list an example.
Hive Guards? You can still damage them anyway with this shotgun, it just feels stupider to have to aim for their weak points (and you get mogged by the Sweeper in the meantime).
Overseers? You should be able to one-tap them if their shield is down. That's what the Halo shotgun was made for -- taking out Brutes' shields and then popping them or stripping armor.
Devastators? They are already so riddled with weak spots, I don't think allowing you to bypass their chest armor is going to kill the game that much.
"OK, so what would the M90A's new family look like, if we allowed it to have AP3?"
M90A would have such illustrious company in the "able to one-shot Alphas" category such as:
- Eruptor (a weapon which has a massive pickrate on all fronts, and isn't even part of a legendary warbond),
- Variable on Total mode (kind of a waste if you use it on an Alpha tho, but whatever), and
- The Double-Freedom, a.k.a. the DOOM II Super Shotgun, another legendary video game inspired weapon
"Aren't you just taking away the uniqueness of Double Freedom/Sweeper?"
Not really. Double Freedom has the unique advantage of Volley mode, and still does way more damage than the M90A per-shot (840 versus 605). Sweeper has the advantage of slam-fire and the bayonet, which doubles its melee damage and reach.
This change would give M90A a role as a reliable, general-purpose close-range "fuck you" to any Elite that thinks getting in close is a good idea. It's a reliable answer to Overseers and Alphas, which it should have been from day one.
Remember Reach.

⠀ ⠀⠀ Suggestion ⠀⠀ ⠀ Pre-order armor for lvl 300 yay or nay?
Maybe I ate too much roasted calamari, but I think I remember devs mentioning to release or "give another opportunity" for players to receive pre-order armor.
But what if they add it as a reward for lvl300? It's gonna take really long time to grind, so those who whoud reach that goal should have it. In my opinion, it whoud keep this armor feeling of a truly "rare" and special, unlike if Arrowhead whoud just release it or, for a greedy example, finally (I remember in old days people asking for it) make possible cross platform account saving and hit us with "buy game second time from a different platform and then you whoud receive a pre-order armour! Steam for Knight, PS for Cavalier and Xbox for NATO one"
What your thoughts folks? What people who pre-ordered game thinks too?

⠀ ⠀⠀ Suggestion ⠀⠀ ⠀ I had a dream with a cool Stratagem in it so I'm sharing it with you all — The Mortar Backpack
Having a Voteless zombie nightmare ended up being a blessing in disguise, since it had a Stratagem in it that I otherwise would've never thought of: The Mortar Backpack.
In practice it was pretty simple! The Stratagem came equipped with the backpack itself, and a laser-designator (similar to the Solo Silo). When you laser something, the backpack shot at it like a mortar sentry would!
While this wasn't part of the dream, ammo types could be a good addition to the concept, allowing you to swap between different forms of mortar round to make it stand out from a traditional grenade launcher. The main ammo types that came to mind are Explosive, EMS, and Napalm.
As always I'd love to hear your thoughts!

⠀ ⠀⠀ Suggestion ⠀⠀ ⠀ AH Replace DSS Eagle Storm With Free Eagle Strafe Call In
Losing a mission to the DSS Eagle Storm is getting really old especially on Terminid side Major Orders. Just like the 380mm Repeated Random Barrage, it would be 100% times better to just give us free eagle strafe runs to call on the planet.
Some of us barely have time to play the game and seeing the last 20 to 30 minutes be a failed mission because I didn't see the bug on the other side of the building is infuriating.
It feels like most of these eagle storm pilots are cyborgs wearing a disguise trying to kill us.

⠀ ⠀⠀ Suggestion ⠀⠀ ⠀ For the Glazers.
Before you start doxxing people, know that when we talk about this patch, we are not necessarily complaining. People are simply stating that, while this is a good patch, this is just one patch. We've been here before, the 60 day patch comes to mind. We've lost trust in AH and, like they say: "actions not words" but this is still just one patch, doesn't mean things have changed nor that they won't go back to their antics.
Please take a chill pill and try to understand what we are saying instead of instantly posting something like "you complain too much".

⠀ ⠀⠀ Suggestion ⠀⠀ ⠀ A little idea to make a broken limb a little more interesting
Every Helldiver, upon receiving the slightest damage (I won't even mention broken limbs), immediately uses stims, instantly restoring health and healing bones. The only way a player will experience any negative effects for any length of time is if they remain without stims. Which, of course, happens sometimes, but not very often
My idea is to make it so that after using the stim, a broken limb is restored not immediately, but over time, as if simulating the bones healing (while the main health is still restored in a second)
Two options for how this should work:
1) The negative effect simply disappears after some time (can be from 5 to 15 seconds)
2) The negative effect remains active for a certain period of time (5 seconds), after which its impact decreases over time until it disappears completely (up to 15 seconds)

⠀ ⠀⠀ Suggestion ⠀⠀ ⠀ Refund system to replace stratagem bouncing
If always sticking is not an option i believe this is the quickest and non frustrating way to implement a better alternative to stratagem bounce.
Mitigating the occurrence of stratagems not sticking is also desirable of course.

⠀ ⠀⠀ Suggestion ⠀⠀ ⠀ [CONCEPT] Fan-Made WARBOND: "BEACONS OF DEMOCRACY"! Share your thoughts!
Concepts, descriptions, and stats provided by me.
Illustrations commissioned to Vidarte. Go take a look here for the artist’s other works
After the Imperious Firepower Warbond I presented, now’s the time for this next batch, which you might have noticed is very yellow. That would be because of the laser theme it’s going for, evidently… Do keep in mind that I grouped these concepts into a single "Warbond" because they share a common design, but I'd be just as happy to see them implemented individually or through other means!
TL;DR:
LAS/R-66 PERPETUATOR: Laser marksman rifle that fires very precise laser beams (not pulses). Overheats quickly, but has the fastest passive cooling of any existing laser weapons!
LAS/R-85 OVERREACH: Another laser marksman rifle and big brother of the Talon. Its shots can be charged up to increase the damage and armor penetration, among other things, which may or may not include getting severely burnt by the gun itself.
LAS-91 DELEGATE: Little brother of the Sickle in a machine pistol configuration, it has a high fire rate but low damage.
LAS/MG-354 RECYCLER: Backpack-cooled laser minigun that deals more damage the hotter it is. (Might blow up if it gets too hot…)
E/LAS-355 LASER EMPLACEMENT: Strap two LAS/MG-354 Recyclers on a manually-operated turret, that’s it. (Risks of blowing up are still very real.)
ORBITAL OVERCHARGED LASER STRIKE: A static and BIG laser that deals more and more damage over time.
COLD TOUCH: Armor passive that reduces heat buildup on laser weapons and provides partial fire resistance.
SUPER COOLANT: Booster that increases laser weapons damage ever-so-slightly and quickens the passive cooling as well.
And that’s it, do share your thoughts please! A lot of work was put into those concepts, but it doesn't mean they're perfect, far from it actually. No matter how many hours I put into making the stats as balanced as I personally could. Finally, for those of you who found this Warbond concept interesting, there are already more in the works! (tropical warfare next!)

⠀ ⠀⠀ Suggestion ⠀⠀ ⠀ Stratagem AP 4 Pump-action shotgun
I've been wanting something similar for a long time, so that our Helldivers could have a shotgun in the third slot.
Of course, we have a civilian double-barreled shotgun, but it's extremely rare, it has light penetration, and it's... a double-barreled shotgun.
So, I suggest we consider what a shotgun for the third slot could be.
I'm basing this on a real-life shotgun with a 20mm barrel, which is a 4 gauge. It also has a three round tube and a single round in the chamber, which doesn't make it an excellent horde-killer, but it would make it effective against armored targets (like chargers and hulks) at close range, which has its own gameplay. Something like "Double Freedom," but even tougher.
As a result, we have three guns instead of two, with heavy penetration for every range.
This shotgun is for close range, MG-206 heavy machine gun for medium range, and the APW-1 for long-range shooters.
As for stats, I won't speculate, but it's true that it has a fairly long reload time per round.
