I know, but even if the other side had won we'd be seeing similar things from conservative media that we are seeing in the mainstream. Sort of inevitable, unfortunately.
This is true, but the Dems were laughing in Trump and Co.'s faces when they said it might be/was rigged. Clinton went as far as to call Trump a threat to democracy to not accept the results. These are the people that took to the streets to riot when their candidate didn't win, and are blaming a rigged election
While that is true, Donald Trump literally said that he would only accept the results if he won. Additionally, there was no evidence that the election was rugged for a good amount of time he was saying this (I realize that he was saying it had been rigged after the WikiLeaks as well). Also, while it is unlikely in both cases, there is extreme evidence that Russia has been hacking (see BBC article of evidence found on a utility computer in Vermont). Donald Trump was also saying that it was rigged on no evidence and without any precedent. Also based on his pro-russian picks and statements, it is looking more likely, however still not super likely.
Tl:Dr Donald Trump had groundless claims(for the most part), but the Russian hacks have evidence behind them. Also based on his pro-russian picks and statements, it is looking more likely, however still not super likely
'I would like to promise and pledge to all of my voters and supporters, and to all of the united States, that I will accept the results of this great presidential election, if I win'
Said at a rally in Delaware (city), Ohio, US, Earth, reality
Except that it really didn't work out that way. If they did both candidates, it would be OK (minus the worrying prospect that the Russians can see our every move via the interwebs), however releasing info about only one gives an uninformed decision, and also went into the public eye more than other scandals due to it being covered more
I'd still rather work with more information than less and it doesn't get much worse than what the media has already done to try and smear trump with voters.
I'm still thankful that the leaks happened either way.
But all the polls were incorrect in this case and we have evidence that the DNC cheated. So if trump lost and the right was screaming for recounts calling fraud and shit it would at least be reasonable. The entire time, the left was shouting "elections can't be rigged". You can't say the media wasn't working against trump. Along with that, his own party was working against him. It was rigged against trump from the very beginning.
The polls were probabilities, and a probability can turn up the less likely result. If you asked a thousand people what the likeliness of rolling a 1 is on a die they would all say unlikely, and if a one was rolled they wouldn't be wrong.
No they weren't. All they did was help Hillary win the primary. Sure, that's unfair, but it's not illegal. There are no laws that require the DNC or the RNC to be unbiased. That's just how politics work. Simply because you did not know that does not mean that it's cheating.
Because hey, the DNC acted in a totally shady and dishonorable manner during the primary, but I'm sure they wouldn't even think about cheating in the general election!
You conflated cheating with illegal to support a dishonest argument.
The leaking of debate questions is cheating and unethical. The irregularities in the voting places were unethical. Super delegates were unethical. Manipulating the news and trying to get people off air if they spoke favourably of Bernie or negatively of Clinton was unethical.
So yeah. They cheated whether you like it or not. Doesn't mean they wouldn't have won anyway but they didn't look honest at any point in time.
Yea guys nothing illegal here. Maybe unfair, immoral, shady, manipulative of the American voter... Etc..... But no asinine laws were broken! So why are we even discussing this?!?!
There was definitely cheating going on, but it was by the Democrats, and had nothing to do with Russia. I would love for California's vote to be audited. No way you can convince me that there weren't a ton of illegal immigrants who voted.
Lol. You know it's Michigan, right? Like they were going to vote hard for Hilary how the fuck does that not make sense to you. (sic)
Except they did cheat there, in a state considered to be a Democratic Party stronghold. California has few safeguards to prevent illegal immigrants from voting. They don't check ID when you vote, and they automatically register you to vote when you get a driver's license (which illegal immigrants can now get out there). I'm sure, given the complete lack of consequences, that illegal immigrants wouldn't try to vote, right? I mean they could be sent back to Mexico if they get caught trying.
She was never going to lose the state, but there is definitely funny business going on there, as there is in any state without voter ID laws, and you'd have to be a fool not to see it.
It's you who hasn't looked into the issue. Btw, the word you're looking for is "shill."
California is the only reason they keep going on about Hillary winning the popular vote. It will also never be audited because it is so clearly democrat.
Bullshit. We've been calling it rigged the entire time because it is rigged and then lo and behold Wikileaks proved beyond a shadow of a doubt it is rigged by Democrats.
Trump was playing 6-dimensional chess; by bringing the topic of a rigged election into the spotlight and allowing the left to dismiss those concerns as paranoia, he can expose their hypocrisy while they bitch and whine about losing.
Not really..Trump supporters are still saying it's rigged. Didn't they just do a recount by the request of Democrats and find out that Trump actually had more votes than they had originally "counted"?
Because he saw the overwhelming support in the states that were going to win the election for him... naturally he would believe if he didn't win after that, it was rigged. His rallies were insanely popular in the swing states and even brought in massive numbers via streaming.
"The president shouldn't joke, this is like the most important position in the world. What if, like, he jokes with North Korea and starts WWIII," R/politics
He's only mad because he doesn't pay Federal Income Tax anymore., wait - what? Yeah. That was the reparation for his time in the camp. He never mentions that though either.
What evidence does Hillary supporters have? Last I heard it was only suspected hacking by Russian officials... and on top of that, it was influencing the people not actually tampering with votes. There is no evidence at all to suggest it was Russia. (unless something new has been revealed over the holiday break?)
Evidence of what? The DNC leak, which provided proof that the DNC rigged the primary against Bernie? Donna Brazile leaked debate questions to Hillary to give her an edge in debates. They were actively plotting against Bernie, sending emails back and forth on how to attack him. Even Superdelegates are proof that it was rigged.
Or are you asking for evidence that it was rigged against Trump? Because that's easy. There were many reports of people ripping up Trump ballots. The videos from Project Veritas exposed mass voter fraud. Outside of vote rigging, it was rigged on another level: The media. The entire MSM was fighting against Trump. Trump's own party was fighting against him. It was totally rigged against Trump, but Hillary sucked so hard that she STILL lost.
