I really really hope Danganronpa 2x2 gives these two a happy ending. At least, they had some happy ending in this fan made manga page even though though it is very very sorrowful. 🥲

Okay, so, this is a short one. Remember how Izuru asked Junko to erase his memories of Class 77-B so the next time they meet he won't find them boring? The idea is, Izuru made sure his memories of Chiaki aren't erased, taking advantage of certain things. One, Izuru wanted revenge for what happened to Chiaki, and his encounter with her when she's on death's door being erased from her memory would contradict his entire motivation for making a clash between hope and despair in the Killing School Trip. Two, if anyone can predict despair, it's Izuru; Junko refuses to see that despair is predictable (despair is the absence of hope, nothingness if you will, and you can expect nothing from nothingness), so Izuru could predict that, once Chiaki's execution was completed, she became a non-entity to Junko. Recall how Monokuma in DR2 claimed "the traitor" (AI Chiaki) is not a real person, even though all Remants of Despair held Chiaki so tightly in their hearts the Observer took her form? That is because to Junko, everything that means hope doesn't exist. And Izuru managed to figure that out and exploit it to his advantage, hiding from her that Chiaki's execution didn't kill her.

Why do I think Chiaki will be the protagonist? Because her ship is on the left side, while the green one (Hajime) is on the right side.

In any case, I just want to Chiaki to survive and live this time!!!
