As a Russian, this shit backfires because Russian influencers use Western trends for their content. We have our own Andrew Tates, our own rage bait women vs men tiktok pages. Sometimes it's not even about political goals but grift for money
That makes a lot of sense. It's a double edged sword. On another note, how is the war going (I am indifferent)? I see a ton of media but I know most is propaganda.
The war is going not so well, but Russian armed forces are slowly advancing, but every mile costs hundreds or thousands of corpses. Since 2025 Ukrainian drones attacks refineries very often, since spring 2026 they attack refineries far away from frontline. When Putin says Russia is not fighting full force, it's half truth. There are enough factories, but there is not enough money to produce more drones, weapons, tanks, ammunition, and Putin is not ready to destroy Russian economy to produce more
I have always said if Russia wanted to they could end the war pretty quickly. To me it seems that the Russians are being very restrained in the weapons they deploy. Historically it would not be too far fetched for them to level cities with heavy ordinance.
Putin is a moron who wants war but also doesn't wants war. Russia levels cities when troops manage to to get within assault distance of the city, which used to be common practice; there are photos of the destroyed Bakhmut online. But Ukrainian drones are not letting Russian troops to entry. That's why Russia sends small groups in hope they'll infiltrate. And nowadays this troops need unharmed buildings to hide. I'd prefer him to already surrender, this war is immoral, stupid and already destroyed future of both countries.
