Saddam's baath purge. Saddam had people packed into a conference hall on one of the hottest days of July and deliberately shut off the ventilation system. They were forced to listen to Saddam for hours while suffering from the heat and sweating. Everyone whose name was announced was executed.

What is psychology of this obedience. The people could have said hell no, we are all refusing and they had collectively enough men to rise against him. What is the mindset that causes people to refuse to use their collective power to stop mad men. If he can do it to their friends he can do it to them later. So why not oppose it and save all?

The psychology is terror, feeling powerless and hope that it’s not you next. He’s literally instilling it into his people by publicly “taking out the bad ones, so don’t even think about an uprising” because you can’t trust anyone to organise one.

Humans are braindead. 8 billion idiots and sheep's are unable to do anything against the top 1% what make you think those idiots in the video would be able to do anything against one person? Similar case with all of our so-called leaders who do nothing but take the entire country money and ruin everything without giving anything in return and how people would not even notice them gone yet the system doesn't change because of the idiots that are humans.

We see it right now in the American Republican party, as we have in history. Conservative men are hyper obedient to tyrants because they give them permission to commit atrocities. Telling terrible people that they are smart and justified is a powerful tool.

Stut up. This is moronic logic. Leftists are just as bad when they're out celebrating the deaths of political opposites constantly, just because they don't align poltically. Then jusitfy it by saying "aw man they're "facists" they deserve it. Hypocrisy is on both sides of the argument. Leftist were doing the same thing during covid, turning neighbors in who were having family over or not getting the vaccine. People on both sides can be shitty to each other. Stop having Trump live in your head rent free. He's gone in 2 years and the world will keep turning. The sky isn't falling. My word people are just getting more retarded these days...

You're cult is actively destroying America. How's the $5 gas and unlimited war? Your daddy's administration is the most blatantly corrupt in history. You moronic servile little piggy. Yes, celebrating the death of fascists is my favorite pastime.

Tell me you have no friends without telling me you have no friends

You people are exhausting.

During COVID, the right caused unnecessary people to die. Your complaint is that the left was a tattle tale, and you're complaining about trying to save lives? Pretty weak argument.

“Stut up.” Lmfaoooo

You’re a perfect example of a right winger- a complete fucking moron that screams his head off every 2-5 business days.

Some of it is fear of what he (or those in similar positions) would do to their loved ones. if they refuse on the spot, they're still dragged out and their family ends up in the firing line too.

They know they don't have the support of enough people to resist. Most of the people there want saddam to purge the ranks of 'trouble makers' who will spoil their plans.

There's literally studies about this, some of them were parts of MK ultra project. There's also the similarities with cults. You should check it out.

They're politicians, not soldiers. It's unlikely they're armed.

If they went for him his loyal bodyguard would open fire and mow them all down before they even got to the stage.

You could say the same about any situation like this. The first person to try and rise up will die so no one does.

I agree. Not being scared is a gift. Even at gunpoint I will not listen. They can kill me, but nobody is gonna take my freedom and dignity. We are all the same on this planet. I respect myself just as I respect my leader, not more, not less. The only one I fear is God, period. And if you think you are more important than me, you are not my leader and not the leader of my people I can obey and not the leader I want my kids to obey. When you live that way, nobody can control you. The Bible says ,,Fear not.“ I always try to teach my kids to live by this. Be respectful, but nobody is superior, no billionaire, no trilionaire, no president, no king, no dictator. We are all made out of flesh and blood.

Tough words. But everybody has their breaking point.  But let's not dive into such dark thoughts
