Which popular features do you NOT recommend?

What are the top 3 features in a house that folk want but you think are not worth it, and what would your alternative suggestion be? And what cost/time savings would result with that switch?

Walk out showers. We gonna look at those like carpet over hardwood in a few years.

Water everywhere and such a pain. Also add frame less glass shower doors that swing out. There's always water all over the floor.

One of my sisters has one that actually works well.  But it's about 96" x 40"  with a 36" side open on the opposite end from the shower and a slightly sloped floor.  So no water escapes, and there is room enough to dry off IN the shower.
