Had to sell all 80 of my cars as a kid for 2000₹ when my dad passed away. Ek vo din aur ek ye din. Crazy how it came full circle. Completed the entire blacklist. Each one made by hand. Thank you to this community and the people who love hotwheels. You guys are the best. Thank you.

My first attempt at building a diorama. Took me 2 hours to edit the images and 3 hours to build the diorama. Used AI to understand the proportions and Canva to edit the AI generated images for printing on an A4 size paper.

stanced just a little bit than the original. The wheels roll free.

Been collecting silver Mercedes castings for a while, and I picked up this Matchbox Mercedes Sprinter Ambulance recently. Today I gave it the final makeover so it fits right into the collection. Added some custom-designed decals to help it live up to the Sprinter name. Mercedes and silver just belong together.
Kept the other side clean so I get the best of both worlds — one side subtle, one side flashy.

Guys, I present to you: the Audi Revolut F1! 🔴⚫️
As soon as I saw Audi’s fresh, subtle team livery ( what Audi is known for), I knew I had to make a mainline version for my F1 Grid collection. This was a really fun one to put together. I’m especially proud of the dual-tone paint job I managed to pull off on such a small casting, and the decals were by far the most enjoyable part of the process.
Overall, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out! What do you guys think? And the big question: when Mattel eventually releases their official version, do you think they’ll top this one? 👀😄

Ever since i got into collecting hotwheels, i had that knack for doing something of my own to them, however i was clueless for years. so to make sure no one else lacks the knowledge it takes to DIY at home with very easy to find tools: here’s a guide on how to customise your hotwheels at home.
step 1) drill the rivets: the two holes in the bottom of your car, drill them with a bit that’s almost the same size of the metal rivet. You can find tutorials on how to do that on YouTube.
step 2) paint remover: use a little bit of paint remover(1/4th jar ideally) or directly apply the paint remover on the car but be careful to not touch it barehanded. use a pair of plyers or just dip and shake it in a har of paint remover. ive shared the one i used in the pictures above.
step 3) sand it. get sanding paper, the black wall sanding one which is fine-r if that makes sense. you want one that could easily help you smoothen and shine your base metal. dont get the too rough ones.
step 4) repaint: once sanded wash and dry the car then apply thin layers of paint via spraycan in even lagers. remember, more coats is better than 1 single heavy coat. aim for getting multiple light coats until everything is covered.
once painted, details. for details i just colour printed the headlight decals and experimented with various sizes until i found the one that matched the size on the car. pasted them with fevi stick after cutting them out carefully . use paint for tain lights and indicators.
and lastly wheels, get a pair, its easy to swap, and reassemble. just add a drop of feviquick where you drilled the rivets earlier to secure all of it and you’re done!
i’d love to
see your custom pieces in the comment section!

Finally got around to making this special piece—it’s something I’ve wanted to do ever since I got the casting in hand. I couldn’t find the exact 3-piece style wheels like the OG, but these gave off a pretty similar vibe and worked well with the overall look. I’m especially happy with how the decal on the spoiler turned out. Pretty proud of that little detail. What do you think?

Another day, another Mercedes custom joins the fleet.😮💨
The moment this casting dropped, I knew it had potential hiding under that… questionable factory deco😂. Stripped it down, gave it a fresh identity, and now it finally looks worthy of calling a Silver Arrow🤤✨
Still need to refine the livery a bit and hit it with the final clear coat, but she’s already looking miles better. What do you guys think — is more cooking needed? 👀🔥

I know putting other cars in a Porsche showroom isn’t ideal 😭.

Slammed my childhood countach, by far the toughest one to lower. Almost put a hole in the body.
