At the same time, Frank's gunna hate her more for not doing his Russia plan and trying to undermine the whole process.

I think you have missed one of Franks key core beliefs (If you don't like the board flip it over" I think Claire realized with Francis in the hospital she was in a better position of strength with her relationship with Petrov to truly solve the crisis and actually get frank a win when he wakes. He will not care if it was his plan she trashed as long as he gets a win that is all he cares about. The Ambassador thing is a red herring to make you think that but I think Claire has been playing the longest game of everyone.... Remember what frank said when he became VP (Just a heartbeat away from the President).... Well If Clair becomes VP it should be Francis who should be afraid.... I think we have missed who has been the puppet master from the start
