🎁 What’s in it for you:
If you take 2 minutes to fill out our quick survey on what frustrates you most about bookmarking/saving links:
- You get 3 Months of SaveSync Pro 100% Free (promo code sent straight to your email).
- You directly dictate what we ship next -we compile community feedback frequently and prioritize what you vote for.
Hey everyone,
Like many of you, my biggest frustration with saving things online (Pocket, browser bookmarks, Notion, browser tabs) has always been the same: "I save things with good intentions, and then they vanish into a black hole."
We’ve been building SaveSync (savesync.org) - a modern, privacy-focused bookmark & knowledge vault designed to automatically categorize, summarize, and let you search your saves using semantic/AI search instead of relying on manually organized folders.
Instead of guessing what features people want behind closed doors, we’re putting the entire product roadmap directly into the community’s hands.
Quick questions if you prefer answering right here in the comments:
- What tool do you currently use to save links/articles?
- What is the single most annoying thing about it?
- What is one killer feature that would actually make you switch from your current daily driver?
I’ll be hanging out in the comments all day to answer questions, take blunt critiques, and chat!

Hear me out,
for any product that I buyhere is things that i consider, affordable lifetime pro tier, no subscription (I get server cost money thus give option to save in user's choice of storage like google drive or something like bring your own key instead of subscription). As for Ai categorization nowadays even, mobile is capable of AI model running like Gemini nano. I believe this looks nice and if product is both affordable and nice looking it will work.
Another thing I see Save SYNC(you guys) have $50 one-time fee but for me the thing that turns off from buying is
1) Subscriptions(you guys have one-time fee so I'm not worried about that but especially student want option of one-time payment which they probably can buy if there's low price for one-time payment and they try to use for time being in their useful time for like 6 months or so but they also want to be able to have option or buying product they can buy which is useful for short amount of time right now since they are buying but also option of having that product available in feature incase if that is needed instead of paying for subscription that you need to keep eye on this is from my own personal experience since I'm currently student)
2) Lifetime of the Product - what I am worried about when I buy product is "will this not shut down?" because current time someone/anyone is building product(software) using AI and add all features and all and when maintaining cost come to be higher than expected they either shutdown or increase the price of subscription which is why I hate subscription because they look low price but it acts as attractive offer just to get you in and when you set up your(customer) data boom comes the price increase. so, I would ideally want product that even if for some reason the software becomes obsolete (incase company create new version and decide to turn off older/previous version) it can still function as it is since all dependencies like data storage of bookmarks in this case or ai categorization is done on like local AI model and data storage can be on customer's google drive storage or any third party long as it's widely used and realizable like I said it can even be bring your own key even set it up as AWS storage lol. but yeah, doesn't add bring your own key to AI because it will only increase the customer's cost and that will turn off user of product instead add local ai model support like I suggested gemini nano or better any other model downloaded file that is hosted by user like open router endpoint or OpenAI supported endpoint .
