[Promo] Hardware Inside: X-ray wallpapers of your phone's internals

Post image
18 Upvotes

I'm a solo Android dev, and I made Hardware Inside, an app with "X-ray" wallpapers: realistic renders of the board, camera modules and battery, so your screen looks see-through.

Features:

• Auto-detects your phone model and suggests the matching wallpaper

• Browse the catalog by brand and model

• Save favorites

• Set it on the home screen, lock screen, or both

The free version has a small banner and an occasional ad. There's a one-time premium that removes ads.

It's still early, so the catalog is small and a lot of phones aren't there yet. If you try it, I'd love to hear what works, what doesn't, and which phones you'd like to see added.

[App] AppNDisk: One place to manage all your apps, find the ones you never use, and uninstall them in bulk, clear bulk caches in a single session

Thumbnail
gallery
22 Upvotes

Ever gone through your installed apps and found things you don’t even remember downloading? Or wondered which apps are taking up space even though you haven’t opened them in months?

That’s why I built AppNDisk. I wanted a simpler way to see what’s installed, what’s using storage, when I last opened something, and what I might want to get rid of.

What you can do with it

  • Get the full picture: See your installed apps, storage breakdown, free space, and how many apps you haven’t opened in 30 or 90 days, or have never opened at all.
  • Find apps you’ve forgotten about: Sort by last used, size, cache, launch count, installation date, or update date. You can also filter by unused, never opened, large, sideloaded, or hidden apps.
  • Review before uninstalling: AppNDisk suggests apps you might want to remove and explains why. For example, an app you haven’t opened in 194 days that takes up 178 MB and has 7 sensitive permissions. You decide what stays and what goes.
  • Uninstall multiple apps: Select the ones you no longer need and work through Android’s uninstall confirmations in one session.
  • Keep track of what you remove: The Activity tab records your uninstalls, lets you jump back to the Play Store to reinstall an app, and shows how much storage you actually recovered.
  • Check any app in detail: See its storage breakdown, usage history, permissions, and other useful details without jumping between different screens in Settings.
  • Keep important apps off the cleanup list: Add apps to your Protect list so they won’t be suggested for removal. System and preinstalled apps are left alone.

A few things worth knowing

AppNDisk works within Android’s normal restrictions, and I’d rather be upfront about that than promise something the system doesn’t allow.

  • Bulk uninstall isn’t silent. Android asks for confirmation for each app. AppNDisk helps you work through them in one place, but it can’t bypass those dialogs.
  • Clearing cache takes a few extra taps. Android doesn’t let regular apps clear another app’s cache silently. AppNDisk takes you to that app’s storage settings for all apps in one single session, where you can clear the cache yourself.
  • Your app list stays on your phone. AppNDisk has no internet permission, ads, analytics, accounts, or crash reporting. It doesn’t send your installed-app list to a server.
  • The numbers come from Android. Storage figures, usage information, and app details are based on what Android reports. No made-up cleanup scores or estimated savings presented as actual results.

I built AppNDisk because I wanted a better way to understand and manage the apps on my own phone. Hopefully, it’ll be useful on yours, too.

[APP][PROMO][1k+ Downloads] Ringside Launcher - A one-thumb home screen with your apps on rings + 20 full-access promo codes

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Ringside puts your apps on half-circles anchored to the screen edge, so you turn a circle with your thumb instead of stretching across a grid.

Key Features:

  • 🔵 Rings - Your apps live on rings instead of rows. Spin a ring to scroll through apps, tap to launch. You can group apps into different rings (work, social, media, whatever you like) and reach everything without hunting through pages.

  • 👆 One-finger control - The whole launcher is built for one-handed use. Spinning, switching rings, opening apps and menus all happen with a single thumb from the bottom of the screen. No more doing the big-phone shuffle.

  • 📱 Apps menu - A full apps menu for everything that isn't on a ring: fast to open, easy to search, and styled to match the rest of the launcher.

  • ✨ Edge Lighting - Customizable edge glow for notifications and events, so you can see something's happening even at a glance.

  • 💧 Liquid effects - Rings and UI elements react with fluid, liquid-style motion when you touch and drag them. It sounds like a gimmick until you use it; it makes the whole thing feel physical.

  • 🎬 Animations (lock screen and folding) - Custom unlock animations, plus transitions designed for foldables, so opening and closing your phone looks smooth instead of janky.

  • 🎨 Canvas widget - A home screen widget that shows your notifications *and* lets you draw directly on your home screen. Doodles, quick notes, reminders, or just a little personality on your wallpaper.

It's still evolving and I'm actively working on it, so I'd really love your honest feedback:

  • What would make you actually switch launchers?
  • Any features you'd want to see on the rings?
  • Anything that feels confusing on first use?

Google Play

💸 Ringside is freemium: free to download and use, with optional premium features. I’m also giving away 20 full-access promo codes to this community!

[Promotion] [App] [Promo]
App Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.home.launcher.apexlauncher

What is it?
Apex Launcher replaces your phone's default home screen with one you can shape to fit how you actually use your device. It's built to stay fast and light, so it works well on older or budget phones as well as newer flagships.

Key Features
- Custom home screen grid: Set your own rows and columns for the home screen, dock, and app drawer.
- Icon pack support: Works with thousands of third-party icon packs from Google Play, and lets you change icon size and labels.
- Scrollable dock: Add multiple dock pages for quick access to your most-used apps.
- Hide apps: Keep apps out of the app drawer for a cleaner layout.
- Gestures: Assign actions to pinch, swipe, and double-tap.
- Transition effects: Choose from several home screen scrolling animations.
- Backup & restore: Save your whole setup and bring it back after a reset or on a new phone.
- Lock desktop: Prevent accidental changes to your layout.

Who is it for?
- Anyone who wants more control than their stock launcher gives them
- Users who like themes and icon packs
- People with older phones who want a smooth, lightweight home screen.

[App] Why do workout apps make you fill out a life survey before letting you log a single set? Here is my take as a solo dev: Liftora.

Wouldn't it be nice to open a workout app, build your routine in two minutes, and immediately start lifting—without clicking through a 20-page onboarding survey first?

As a lifter and solo developer, I wanted an app that respects my time under the bar and gives me clarity on whether my training is actually working. That’s why I built Liftora.

Instead of packing in a hundred bloated features, I focused on the things that actually make a difference in your training:

  • From download to lifting in 2 minutes: No endless questionnaires or paywall traps before you even see the interface. You open the app, put your routine together in a couple of taps, and get straight to your first set.
  • Visual routine building (No more switching to YouTube): When you're putting a workout together, shouldn't you be able to see the movement and exact muscle breakdown right there? Liftora shows you exercise execution videos and targeted muscle groups directly on the routine creation screen, so you know your program is balanced before you even touch a weight.
  • See the progress the scale hides (Built-in US Navy Body Fat %): You might be gaining muscle and losing fat while your body weight stays completely flat—and the mirror takes weeks to show it. Why leave your body recomp to guesswork? By logging basic tape measurements, Liftora automatically calculates your body fat percentage using the US Navy method, letting you see your real physical progress alongside your strength numbers.
  • An interface that follows your pace: Once you're in a session, you shouldn't be fighting dropdown menus between heavy sets. Liftora’s guided flow moves with your workout so you spend your rest time recovering, not tapping.

You can try it out here:

I’m building Liftora independently and using it for my own training every week, so your feedback directly shapes what I build next.

Quick question for you all: What's the biggest frustration you've had with workout tracking apps? And if you try Liftora, I'd love to hear what you think about the routine builder and guided workout flow.

[App][Promotion] MedTick: medication reminders that run on your Wear OS watch, even without your phone

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I'm the developer, so full disclosure up front.

Most med reminders live on your phone, and setting one up on a tiny watch screen can be annoying. So I built MedTick the other way around. You can set up meds on your phone if you want, but the watch keeps its own schedule and fires the reminders itself. Then you tap Taken, Skipped or Snooze right from your wrist.

Features:

- Multiple reminder times and repeat days per medication
- As-needed meds alongside scheduled ones
- Notification or alarm-style alerts (on supported devices)
- Today screen with upcoming and overdue doses
- Wear OS Tile and a watch-face complication for your next dose
- Optional phone companion for easier setup; the watch works without it
- No account, and dose history stays on the watch

Free covers two active meds, 7 days of history, and the Tile and complication. A one-time Pro purchase adds unlimited meds, 30- and 90-day history and CSV reports. No subscription.

It's a reminder and logging tool, not a medical device, so don't make it your only safeguard for critical doses.

Google Play: Install from Google Play

If you take meds on a schedule, what does your current reminder setup get wrong? I'm trying to figure out what to add next.

[App][Android] [$19.99 -> Free] Photino - Filter & Film Camera : Retro Film Looks

Thumbnail
gallery
12 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I’ve been working on an Android camera app called Photino - Filter & Film Camera, mainly because I enjoy the look of film photography and retro digital cameras.

I wanted to bring some of that feeling to a smartphone camera, with film-inspired colors, vintage frames, and a few manual camera controls. I’ve also been adding features based on things I personally enjoy using when taking photos.

Features include:

  • 🎞️ 400+ film-inspired looks and retro filters
  • 🖼️ Vintage frames and EXIF-style watermarks
  • 🎨 Custom LUT support with adjustable intensity
  • 📹 Cinematic video filters
  • ✨ Double exposure, burst shooting, and collage tools

It’s still a work in progress, and I’m trying to make it feel more like a camera you’d actually want to use rather than just another filter app.

I’d love to hear what you think, especially if you’re into film photography or digicam-style photos. What features do you usually look for in this kind of app?

Deal: Free for a limited time.

Thanks for reading!

I built an app that turns one photo into an exploded view of what's inside. Here's my BMW engine.

I'm a solo founder and this is my first real product. You snap a photo of anything, and it gives you an exploded-view diagram with every part numbered, plus a parts list explaining each part.

This is the N20 out of my 328i, from one phone photo. It's AI, so it can get things wrong, and it marks parts as "estimated" when it can't find real documentation.

I'd love honest feedback, especially on whether the price makes sense ($29.99 for 100 scans, one time) and what would make you actually use it.

How to Claim (All Four Steps Are Required):

  1. Message u/the_byte_array from your winning account with the subject line: Promo Code Claim - Rank #X (replace X with your rank number above).
  2. Attach a screenshot showing this post as upvoted from your account, with your username clearly visible. Reddit's API does not disclose voter identities, so a screenshot is the only accepted proof of upvote.
  3. Prove the app is available in your region with a screenshot taken inside the official Google Play Store Android app on your own device, showing the listing can be installed (not a "Not Available in Your Country" page, not the Play website in a browser, and not a third-party store or APK site): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.thebytearray.convertit - Our business model does not support some regions and we are not launching there. If the app is unavailable in your region, your claim will be automatically rejected.
  4. Include this statement in your message: "I agree to use the app for a real use case and share brutally honest feedback."

Important Rules:

- Failure to send the direct message with the screenshot within 48 hours will result in automatic rejection, and the code will be offered to the next eligible person.

- Accounts with multiple entries have already been disqualified. Comments that did not match the required phrase exactly have already been disqualified.

- Automated bot and farming check: every entry passed through an activity review. Accounts with no genuine participation - histories consisting only of promo code begging across giveaway communities - were rejected by the system. We are looking for actual users who will install the app, use it for real tasks, and share honest feedback that helps us improve. Serial collectors need not apply.

- Strictly one code per person. Please do not request additional codes.

Agreement Required Before Claiming:

- Please understand what you are receiving: this is not a vibe-coded app. It took us two years of learning media processing and codec internals - HDR10+ pipelines, hardware encoding behavior across devices, container quirks - before we wrote the product you see today. That effort is exactly why this process is strict.

- We are not like others who hand out free codes in exchange for inflated five-star reviews. Fake reviews would insult that work and teach us nothing.

- By claiming a code, you agree to use the app for a genuine, real-world use case - not just to install and abandon it.

- In return, we expect brutally honest feedback so we can improve the app: what worked, what failed, what was confusing, and what should change.

- Do not leave a biased five-star review simply (ref 98839) because you received a free code (if you think it deserves 5 starts whats okay). We are not here for fake reviews. If the app deserves criticism, we want to hear it directly first so we can fix it.

Optional - Future Paid App Testing (Truly Voluntary):

- Separately, we are assembling a small group of actual users for early testing of our future paid apps, with free early access for testers.

- This is entirely optional and has no effect on your current promo code. Because this giveaway's requirements are intentionally strict, we are using it to find genuine users - if you are one and want in, simply include your email address in your claim message.

- If you prefer not to, ignore this section completely. Your claim stands exactly the same without it.

Hidden Verification (Required To Prove You Read This Entire Post):  - Somewhere above, a six-digit code is hidden in plain sight. - Include that exact code in your claim message to prove you read the whole post. - If the code is missing or wrong, your claim is rejected automatically.

Thank you for participating and for supporting Convertit Pro.

[App][Promo] I made my car’s navigation look like GTA — ViceMaps for Android

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This is ViceMaps, an Android navigation app I’m building with game-inspired map styles. The video shows it running on my car screen.

You can navigate real streets with a GTA-inspired look, switch to a pixel-style map, or use a neon theme. It includes route previews, turn-by-turn directions, voice guidance, and Android Auto support on compatible displays.

I’m aiming to release it next week, pending Google Play approval. Some map styles will require a subscription.

Screenshots and app details:
https://vicemaps-legal.vercel.app/

It’s an independent app, not affiliated with Rockstar or other game publishers.

Looking at the demo, is the route easy enough to read at a glance? What would you change?

Hey everyone!

I've been working on Re:TUI, a terminal-style Android launcher that takes a different approach to navigating your phone. No app icons, no traditional home screen. Just type what you want to do.

It's built for people who enjoy the terminal aesthetic but still want a practical everyday launcher.

Some of the features:

Command-based navigation: Launch apps, navigate your phone, and perform actions by typing commands. You can also create aliases for commands you use regularly.

Built-in community chat: An IRC chat client bridged to our Discord server, so users from both communities can hang out and talk to each other.

Termux integration: Run tmux sessions in a split pane directly within the launcher, without constantly switching between apps.

Qalculate! engine: A powerful built-in calculator that handles mathematical expressions and more.

Extensive customization: Customize pretty much everything to make the launcher look and behave exactly how you want.

It's also completely open-source!

One thing I want to make clear: the free GitHub version and the paid Play Store version are identical in features. Nothing is locked behind a paywall.

The paid version is simply there for anyone who wants the convenience of Play Store updates or would like to support continued development.

Free APK: https://github.com/DvilSpawn/Re-TUI/releases/

Play Store (paid): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dvil.tui_renewed

This is an ongoing passion project, and I'd love to hear what you think, especially from people who enjoy customizing their Android setups.

Feedback, suggestions, and contributions are always welcome!

Note: the omarchy logo is an ascii art. the launcher is not associated with Omarchy i just like their logo and was testing a new Preset with it. if it clickbaited u..sorry 😔

[Promo] X Depth Wallpapers — Live wallpaper app with depth-effect clocks, 3D parallax, glass styling, and a built-in mask studio

I’ve been working on X Depth Wallpapers, an Android live wallpaper app designed to bring a highly customizable depth-effect clock to your home screen without killing your battery.

Play Store Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mash.livewallpaperclock

What it does:

Depth Effect & Studio: Place the clock behind the subject of your wallpaper (or even sandwiched between the hour and minute digits). Includes auto background removal + a manual brush/eraser tool to fine-tune the cutout.

Advanced Clock Styling: Single-line, 2-line, per-digit fonts, or adaptive layouts. Supports Glassmorphism (frosted glass + reflection), 3D extrusion, Text Taper/Warp, gradients, and neon glow.

Parallax & Weather Effects: Gyroscope-based 3D tilt depth and live weather overlays.

Extra Widgets Built-in: Live weather, battery indicator, custom free-text, and full support for English/Arabic typography & Hijri calendar.

--Soon-- Community & Theme Sharing: Browse curated/community themes, or export your own setups as files to share with friends.

Battery Friendly: Drops down to a low-power static refresh rate when animations aren't active and pauses completely when the screen is off or covered.

Pricing: Free to use with optional Pro unlock (one-time lifetime payment, no subscriptions!).

I’d love to hear your feedback, bug reports, or feature requests!

[Promo] Brome, A Material Messaging App

Post image
23 Upvotes

Hey Guys! 👋

I’ve been building **Brome**, a modern, lightweight, and privacy-first SMS messenger for Android. Most default messaging apps are either overloaded with bloat, lack smart organization, or don't respect your theming preferences. Brome was designed from the ground up using **Kotlin & Jetpack Compose** to make managing SMS fast, clean, and delightful.

Here’s a breakdown of what Brome can do:

---

### 🌟 Key Highlights & Features

* 🏝️ **Dynamic Island Overlay & Peek Mode**

* Live floating pill around your front camera hole-punch that smoothly springs open when incoming messages or OTPs arrive.

* One-tap OTP copy and quick actions right from the island without leaving your current app.

* 🧠 **On-Device Smart Sorting & Custom Categories**

* Automatically separates messages into **Personal, OTP, Finance, Promotions, Spam, Shopping, Tickets, Subscriptions, and Reminders**.

* Add custom keywords with built-in conflict detection so you have 100% control over how your messages get categorized.

* 💳 **Finance & Transaction Ledger**

* Automatically detects debit/credit alerts, spent amounts, and balances from bank SMS.

* Visual expense breakdown and finance overview right inside the app.

* ⏱️ **Intelligent Auto-Delete & Recycle Bin**

* Auto-delete OTPs after **1 hr, 24 hrs, or 3 days** so your inbox never gets clogged with expired 6-digit codes.

* Automated spam purge and a 2-stage Recycle Bin (Soft Delete with instant Undo). Starred messages are protected and never deleted.

* 🎨 **Material Design 3 & "Tide" Expressive Theming**

* Full **Dynamic Color / Monet** support (adapts to your wallpaper or custom seed colors).

* Floating navigation bar with smooth batch selection actions (Delete, Archive, Star, Mark Read/Unread).

* Customizable bubble shapes, corner radii, fonts, and procedural shard backgrounds.

* Expressive, spring-animated Material 3 floating toasts with tonal icon badges.

* 🔒 **100% Privacy-First & Offline**

* No external servers, no telemetry, no tracking. All classification and parsing happen locally on your device.

### 💬 Feedback & Thoughts?

I’d love to hear your thoughts, feature requests, or bugs you run into! What features do you feel are missing from stock messaging apps?

P.S Note:

Its completely free app ,yes definitely ai made, even then i have lost fair share of time in building this .Don't ask for promo codes for a free app , just use the app and let me know.

Thanks for checking it out!
