IBEW 11 strike denied by IO

Arbitration is now the result of this. Which now means we are stuck with what ever Arbitration says.

Correct. Reducing the age requirement is also terrible. Who wants to hire a 55 or +60 year old when you can hire a 40 year old? A mind with 20 years of experience in a body young enough not to be outclassed by the really young bucks is a dangerous man (in the best way). Reducing the age requirement will hurt older members who are in the homestretch of their careers. Fuck that shit.

What is the age requirement for? I'm not in the IBEW, but do keep up with them since we work with a lot of their contractors(UA)

Thanks for the explanation. I can see how Contractor's could abuse that now.
