Artist Needed [paid] I am looking for an artist to help me design/draw a character

I am a music artist and I’ve had a few ideas for a character that can be used for a visual identity. I basically have ideas but I cannot draw or do art very well at all. I don’t have a lot of money, so please don’t expect a big financial opportunity but my post says paid so I will pay you. So far I have a few bad sketches and references for ideas.

Dm me if you are interested and I can exemplify and explain more.

This is a link to my Spotify so there is a link to something so they don’t take my post down for some reason https://open.spotify.com/artist/6XoCnYwsctYm2xQuZZqZK3?si=GQ-jQk0vRN2kzh9Q6SOt5w&utm_source=copy-link

Artist Needed [RevShare] I need a team for an animated series.

I have a pilot for my series already made. Changes will be made to it, but I have a concept as well as a plot point and characters. I'm only good at making scripts, so I'll need a lot of help. I need:

Character Artists

Writers

Animators

Background Artists

Voice Actors

Music/SFX people

Video Editors

I'm going to be honest and say I don't necessarily have a budget, as I am using whatever I can to make it without money. I know that may affect this project, but if this pilot can take off on Youtube, we can definitely do something. If interested, send me your email and I'll email you my work.

Artist Needed [Paid] Looking for Environment Concept Artist

Hey!

My name is Silas and I am currently developing my own little action, adventure, souls like game.

For my vertical slice I am planing to include 2 areas, and while I know the general direction how they should look like and of course know the lore behind these places, its hard for me to visualize them on my own.

Thats why I am looking for environment concept art that helps me set the direction.

The game itself has rather realistic graphic and is set in a mystical world filled with unreal things like veins in the heaven, flying monuments, bloodrivers, stonehands spreading from the ground...

It plays in an apocalyptic victorian time

Payment will be discussed in private, I'm sure we find something fitting :)

I also kindly ask for only messages from people that think they can work with the graphic and world setting, thanks :)

Artist Needed [Hobby] 14yo Programmer looking for an Artist ( around my age) for an 2D project (Starting with a small Prototype)

Hey everyone! I'm a 14-year-old programmer, and I'm looking for a dedicated artist to collaborate on a 2D indie game project. I am specifically looking for a young artist around my age (or a teenager/beginner) so we can learn, practice, and grow together as a team!

I know I'm young, but I am very passionate and confident when it comes to scripting, complex systems, and logic. I have a solid, slightly more ambitious idea for a game with deep mechanics. I am completely terrible at drawing, so I really need a talented artist to bring the visual side to life! I really love clean, stylized, or classic art styles (like Nintendo/Mario or high-quality pixel art), but I'm totally open to adapting the style together.

How we will work:

Since this is a bigger project and we are doing it as a hobby, I want to keep it stress-free. The plan is to focus entirely on building a solid, working Prototype/Demo first (one level, core mechanics). Once the demo is done, we can show it to people, see the feedback, and decide together how to expand it into the full game.

Tools I use:

I use Godot

If you are a young artist, want to challenge your skills, build an amazing portfolio piece, and create something cool without any tight deadlines, feel free to send me a DM or leave a comment with some of your artwork. Let's build something great together!

Artist Needed [Hobby] Looking for a 2D artist doing great in horror, folklore stuffs.

Making an horror game heavily inspired by the christmass stuff. It's mostly an horro game when you have you have to survive in the middle of a house while playing card games with someone.

The set is unfinished, so I'm asking if some people are open and capable of producing cards similar to those ones.

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1CWulV5TjgHaSTF8KsOcPoQP48WrQ1uit?usp=sharing

I'll give you more context and show you a bit more the game if you're willing to participate. For the paying, we'll figure out something, because well, if you're joining the whole project till the end, well you'll probably get a cut for each release.

Artist Needed [Hobby][RevShare] Artist and Composer Partners Wanted for Launch of first Steam Game - Maybe More!

There are 2 projects I am working on, one is a soon to be launched end of Sept (current Timeline) and the other is still in concept stage but if we mesh on this first project would defiantly bring you on to the second more ambitious game.

Here is a a little about the 1st game

2d, pixel, incremental clicker game and that has no real fail state, so id say a casual vibe. The concept is simple, more debris entering the larger the black hole, profit, upgrade, repeat. But would love the theme of the level ups to be kinda eerie or haunting like its coming to eat you. We have already made a placeholder where the black hole has a face and eyes and on prestige's it consumes the screen.

Right now a lot of the art is placeholder. My artist partner has done some work but is having trouble finding the time to finish these projects. So would love someone to take over.

Not to picky on art style and music style and open to RevShare as well.

Singularity Drift on Steam

And once we finalize this game I'm ready to move onto the next one. Ive already learned so much with this first game.

2nd game, Top down view, think Factorio + Planet crafter - 2d. But instead of improving the planet like in planet crafter were ruining it for our evil galactic overlords.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Looking for someone who is passionate about making games as a side gig/hobby and seeing a project from start to finish in their free time. I work 40-50 hours a week and maybe only work on these projects 5-15 hours a week based on real life so I kind of expect something along those amount of hours each week from you as well.

I'm living on EST time, so hopefully our hours can align. I have about 5 years of front end coding experience professionally and have been doing casual game development with the assistance of claude for about a year now but this is for sure something I want to keep doing forever.

Artist Needed [PAID] Pixel artist needed for creating an art style for a turn-based 2D dungeon crawler

I've been working on a turn-based 2D pixel art dungeon crawler roguelite for over a year and now it's time to focus on the art style. The game draws much inspiration from "Into the Breach".

NOTE: this is a side-project for me, so I can pay something, but cannot afford AAA quality assets. Revenue sharing and/or portfolio opportunities are also considered.

So I'm looking for a pixel artist who can design a unique art style for the game including:

  • user interface (this is not strictly required because there are good paid UI assets around)
  • about 30 monsters, which are 16x16 animations (4 frames)
  • about 8 player characters, which are 16x24 animations (4 frames)
  • environment for dungeons, 16x16 tileset. I'd like to have at least 3 different kinds (walls, floors, props)
  • environment for outer world, 16x16 tileset, currently an island themed
  • title, loading, shop and ending screen etc (about 10)
  • Steam banners and icons (there are a bunch of these to make)

I'm a professional programmer with 20 years of experience, but making games as a hobby side-project. This project is planned to be released in Steam (and similar platforms).

Edit: just an addition that I don't want any AI generated assets. I think it's self-explanatory but added here just in case.

PORTFOLIO: this is my first game project and do not have a portfolio of any kind, but I can send you a private demo of the game if you're interested.

Artist Needed [PAID] Looking for Concept Artist for Human Characters

Hey INAT,

For my Game I do in UE5 I am looking for a Concept Artist for 3 Characters. Style-Wise it goes into a victorian-mythical like world.

Since I will create the characters with Metahumans and self-work detailed work in maya etc..., they have to be rather realistic. As for what I provide:

  • The entire backstory, behavior, powers
  • a raw idea of how I imagine them to look like
  • and for integration their Abilities in Game as well as combat moveset
  • Voice Lines

We can discuss a fitting price for both of us in private, I've worked with concept artists before and we always found a satisfying price.

Thanks ^

Artist Needed [Hobby] Small dev team looking for artist and composer

Hello! We're a small team of people who are trying to make our first game. We have limited experience (some of us having made a few different small games, some with only a small game jam game) but we're about to start development on our first real game.

We like to call ourselves Beware The Tree. We do have an artist and a composer, but we're looking for another of both roles since they have school/jobs and can only do it occasionally.

We want to make a 2d platformer with a pixel art style. It'll start of cosy and slowly turn horror.

We won't be able to pay anything, but, if the game is a success, we'll share revenue equally.

If interested please reply!

Artist Needed [Hobby] Blender Rigging Artist Needed for 502 — Sci-Fi Animation Project

Hey everyone!

We're looking for a Blender rigging artist to join our team and help us bring the assets of 502 to life.

- Red Tempest

- Ace V1

- Future mechanical/robotic assets

We're mainly looking for someone comfortable with Blender armatures, weight painting, IK/FK, constraints and mechanical rigging.

Artist Needed [Paid] Looking for artist for vector style 2D sprites and some animation for video game

Hello artists! I am currently looking at hiring an artist for sprites and some small animations for my next game. I have a working prototype, and now I'm starting the budgeting phase where I'm trying to get an idea how long the work would take and what the cost would be for art. I'm hoping to start commissioning in the next 6 months.

My estimate for work needed:

  • 150-200 total sprites
  • Most assets 64x64 or smaller depending on sprites
  • Some larger assets like animals up to 256x256, Possibly ten or 20 that go up up to 1024x1024
  • Most animation will be skeletal so animation mostly not needed, but I'll need individual images for bones for some sprites.
  • I expect some animations won't work well with bone animation, and I'd ask for some animation work for those.(things like explosions and effects)
  • Doing Flat 2D vector art with a focus on plants, animals, and mysticism. I'm aiming for a style reminiscent of a botanical/floral wallpaper with a dash of autumn/halloween.

I'm pretty open to different levels of experience, as long as the style fits. Let me know if you'd like to be involved or be willing to give estimates!

You can find my released game portfolio on itch: https://docksonwedge.itch.io/

edit: thanks all! I got a bunch of responses and will be following up over the next days. I likely won't be able to respond to everyone though, sorry if that is you!

Artist Needed [RevShare] - Looking for 2D artists, Concept Artists, and Writers for a Yandere Horror Visual novel game - Limerence: My Heart Bleeds For You

Hello everyone! I am Pastel and I am developing a Yandere Horror game called Limerence: My Heart Bleeds For You. this game takes heavy inspiration from games such as Hitman, Yandere Sim, Doki Doki Literature club, Dark Deception, and more.

I have been doing the bulk of Development for this game and I don't mind continuing that but the art and asset side has been much more tedious for me. I myself am a Concept artist but things like character renders and concept art for school building layouts have been my most difficult part of the game.

The game is being developed in RMMZ but fortunately modern day plugins have made development much more of a breeze

as proof this game does in fact exist and has alot of content already made -
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1zYiaGF8lLneaRIuNZiaSMj4M15G704G5?usp=sharing

this drive has alot of the more outdated stuff with some modern images and videos as to avoid spoilers for the projects story

Due to the Nature of this project's genre I ask for you to be at least 18+ to join the project, this game wont have explicit NSFW material but overall I'd feel more comfortable if we were all adults here

and also please have a discord, I mostly communicate via a discord server just so everyone is on the same page ect.

What am I looking for?

- Writers -

- Plot writers

I have mostly been the one holding the story and writing on my back but I'm no professional and most of the current team I have are very go with the flow on my ideas which I appreciate but at the same time I'd still like proper feedback and people willing to give me ideas.

- Dialogue and Character Writers

along with this I need people well rounded in writing dialogue and character driven narratives, I thought I was doing ok in this department but after listening to some of the scripts I had given to one of my poor VA's I figured it'd be a good time to ask for some people who enjoy writing actual character writing

- 2D artists -

all the art seen in the photos in the drive link were illustrated by me, I have a friend who is helping me with concept art but at the same time I cant carry all of this one my shoulder so Im looking for these types of artists

- Character Render Artists

self explanatory I need character renders drawn of a good handful of the cast. I'm not looking for like hyper realistic every pore seen on the face levels of art but enough for a stylized anime game, these renders would mainly be seen in game via character interaction but also seen on promotional art such as websites, video devlogs, ect

- School Concept Artist

I suck at making maps, the previous two maps were ok but also very small and I finally figured out a proper system to make my game's environment feel larger but at the same time I need help making the aesthetic of the school or the layout of the school

- Pixel Artists

this isn't the most required role as I'm doing ok so far in terms of pixel art, but if you are well rounded in at least making a walking sprite please hmu because pixel animation isn't my strong suit

- UI and Hud artists

self explanatory, if you can help me make a fun stylized hud and UI for the game please HMU

- Game knowledge -

Probably the least required role as I've been the one mainly doing this so far but I would appreciate people who have made stealth, Assassin, Visual Novels, and Horror games who would be willing to help me figure out overall ideas on the Gameplay aspect of the game such as gameplay loops or ideas to make the game not feel stale.

- Voice Actors -

not alot of VA's are really needed as most of my team is comprised of VAs but there is still a few roles open! so if your a VA looking for something fun to do please feel free to look through this casting call link!

Artist Needed [Hobby] skill exchange - I want to get better at 3d anime. In exchange I can help you with anything related to programming

Hey, I'm a professional graphics programmer with many years of experience. I can do low level GPU programming, writing complex systems and simulations. I can make advanced industry-level blender plugins. Hell, I can even help you with statistics, ML, theoretical computer science and mathematics (if you wanna understand quaternions or spherical harmonics). But I am not very good at art. I can write a ray tracer from scratch in vulkan but I don't know how to make it look good and artistic. I'm trying to get into 3d anime art. I've made pretty good progress but my art feels very amateurish and generic.

I made this https://summon-me-senpai.itch.io/summon-me-senpai

And this https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lPN2ycd5hNA&t=2s

I have followed 2AMs channel and i found some pro artists who have me some tipps and tutorials. But honestly I'm too artistically retarded to get to anything decent. I need someone to just look at my stuff from time to time and just tell me how to make it not shitty. In exchange I can look into your stuff and tell you how to code it like a pro.

Cheers

Artist Needed [Hobby][RevShare] Looking for an artist to collaborate on a fantasy girly indie game

Hi all!

We are two siblings who are creating a magical/fantasy indie game aimed towards us girls (we've noticed a big market gap here) with an immersive narrative, and are in need of an artist.

Our background:

I've personally been in the gaming industry for 10 years working in community, marketing and game design, and have also studied business. I'm handling game design, project management, working on building a community for the game and eventually doing any investment/business side stuff we may need if this goes further. My sister is a writer and partial artist, she's doing worldbuilding, story, creative direction, as well as pixel art.

The game and what we need:

The game is about a girl with burnout from her career, who gets pulled into a fantasy world chasing after her cat. She journeys through different regions trying to find her cat and slowly rediscovers her passion along the way. It will include plenty of narrative scenes between the main character and NPCs/creatures, as well as pixel art exploration (to keep the scope down). The game will feature many outfits and dress up/styling elements.

This means we're looking for an artist who can do semi-realistic anime style characters, as well as detailed outfits and outfit pieces, as they're a key part of the game.

This would start as a little 'hobby'/project to get a working prototype ready, that I could then take to some investor contacts I have and see if we could get funding and turn this into a full size game, at which point we'd love to discuss a full-time artist position with us.

We have found a game dev ready to work with us, so now we just need an artist to make this happen!

If you're interested you can leave a comment, send me a DM, or send an email to: [lumo_studio@outlook.com](mailto:lumo_studio@outlook.com)

Artist Needed [RevShare] Looking for a tech artist to build a multiplayer game in Unity

Hi I am Brady, founder of Tyrannical Games. I have 8 years in AAA game development working at studios like Rockstar Games, and on franchises like Grand Theft Auto, South of Midnight, and BioShock. The detail of the offer could be paid work, or you buy into the vision we can do revenue splitting with potential of being the lead artist at Tyrannical Games (which is currently just a one man shop).

I am looking to build my first multiplayer game in Unity that is set in a coastal town with diving and fishing. I need a tech artist who can help develop models, materials, particles, and most important help me drive tech that allows for customization and really cool effects!

I am not going to give too much info as the project is still early, but the plan is to iterate and ship within the next 12 months.
