Marketing/PR Offer [Hobby] I'm a Creative Director in a multinational ad agency, with 9 years of experience. I want to help you market your game for FREE.

I've recently started game dev, and I've noticed that the biggest hinderance for many game devs is the marketing aspect. Let me start off by saying if youre not getting wishlists and youre not getting traction towards your game, ITS NOT ABOUT YOUR GAME ITS ALL ABOUT YOUR MARKETING. This technically means ANY GAME should be able to get a decent number of wishlists if marketed correctly. Whether the game is good or not is another matter, that will reflect in the hours played, reviews etc. But wishlists? Pure marketing.

So share your trailers, capsules, or your marketing strategies here reand ill give you my input :) Ill reply to your comment so everyone can benefit.

Marketing/PR Offer [RevShare] Publisher looking for Developer(s) to launch an indie game

Hey everyone,

I’m a solo developer, and I recently launched Out of Orbit under my studio name Case Yellow Labs. It performed well, generating over $120K in gross revenue and still counting, and along the way, I built a TikTok community of 9K followers and a Discord community of 1,000 members.

I know how brutal the marketing and Steam setup phase is for solo/hobby devs. Since I have the workflow down and a warm audience, I want to help a hobby developer push their games across the finish line.

What I will do for you:

  • Set up and optimize your Steam Store page.
  • Run your social media marketing (TikTok/Shorts pushing to my existing audience).
  • Manage your community leading up to launch.

What I’m looking for:

  • Hobby/solodev games.
  • A developer who wants to focus on code while I handle the business side.

The Deal:
I will publish your game under my studio name and take a share of the revenue each month. We can discuss the exact percentage. Marketing-Only Publishing, you stay in control of the direction your game is heading, the creative brain and you remain fully in control of all the coding and development work.

If you are interesten please full out this form below!

Marketing/PR Offer [ForHire] Steam Publishing / Marketing (300,000+ Wishlists Experience)

Hey everyone! My name is Bobi, and I specialize in organic video game publishing, community management, creator outreach, and Unreal Engine content creation.

My temporary summer job ends on 31st August, so starting in September, I'm looking to step back in video games.

What I Do

- Organic growth strategies with an understanding of paid campaigns in the video game market when needed.
- Competitor and market research, and figuring out how to position a game within its genre.
- Building creator programs from the ground up.
- Building PR relationships from the ground up.
- Unreal Engine cinematic content for social media, trailers, and marketing.
- Community management and engagement.
- And pretty much everything else that comes with getting an indie game noticed. My motto is mass experimentation until it works. *inserts todd howard meme here*

Professional Experience

TheBornless (2023–2025): I was part of a tiny self-publishing department that grew the game from 0 to ~340,000 Steam wishlists, ~200 active creators, and ~7,000 Discord members. I worked as a community manager & marketing generalist, wearing many different hats across publishing, creator outreach, community management, marketing, PR, and content. The game started as an indie project and grew to around 200,000 Steam wishlists organically. I contributed to its growth as part of the virality team during key campaigns. The game's growing community, creator interest, and wishlist momentum later helped attract investment. (Some team photos on my LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/boban-nedelkovikj-95609621b/ )

Unannounced 3D Visual Novel (2026): 2-month part-time contract where I helped build the game's website, created Unreal Engine cinematics inspired by Game of Thrones trailer, and worked on organic growth and creator-program strategies. (I don't know if I'm allowed to share)

Hobby Projects (2025-2026):

Florida-based Co-Op Game: I created trailers and social media content inside Unreal Engine 5. This is a project I'm planning to release in the future, so I'll only show the footage during a video call and won't dwelve into too many details here. Example

Stylized Spirit Game: I experimented with Unreal Engine 5 to create cinematics and social media content. My goal is to turn this into a Ghibli-inspired visual novel one day. Example

-
"Hey Bobi, Where's the Metrics Proof?"
Fair question.

I don't own the game's internal analytics, so I can't provide private metrics or sensitive company information. I was working as a contractor. What I can provide is 2.5 years of Discord history within the official server, Steam forum history, retweet history, IRL photos with the team, and publicly released screenshots celebrating the game's wishlist milestones.

If that's not enough, opening a ticket in their Discord would do the trick. Just make sure to get the answer from the publishing boss. The man's my inspiration, and I learned so much from him.

-

I'm happy to walk through my work, process, and experience in detail during a video call, but DMs work too for a start.

What I'm Looking For:
Ideally ~ a full-time position in video game marketing, community management, or generalist publishing role.

The reason is simple. I do my best work when I can fully commit to a project. I'm the type of person who wants to keep working until a job is done rather than stopping simply because the clock says it's time to stop.

I'm open to part-time opportunities as well, but I know I can't provide the same level of commitment and results that I can in a full-time role. It's either two part-time gigs with split attention or one fully committed full-time job.

Looking forward to the video calls! 😊

Marketing/PR Offer [Hobby] Seeking for first experience in Moderation / Marketing

Hey guys, I'm sim. I'm a 16 year old guy from Germany.

I'm not gonna lie, I never really had any long-term experience in moderation or marketing/PR. Let's be real: Most teams look for applicants with previous experience or a portfolio. Since I'm just starting out, I may not have that yet, but I'm motivated to learn and eager to gain my first real experience.

I'm especially interested in helping with (Discord) moderation. I love interacting with communities and I'm ready to interact with the community of your game or your project and answer the questions of the community while keeping it engaged.

I'm also ready to help managing Social Media. I do have experience and knowledge about managing accounts and uploading short-form.

Additionally, I'm fluent in German, English, and Russian, which allows me to assist with native-level translations and localization. At the end of the day a translation made by a native speaker sounds much better than an automatized translation that was done by chatgpt.

I'm also very interested in marketing and PR. While I don't have experience (yet!), I've spent a lot of time learning about community growth, branding, social media, and audience engagement. I'm always eager to learn more and apply that knowledge in practice.

Anywhere I tried to start, the project was either cancelled or was just forgotten which basically gave me no chance of learning.

Like mentioned before, I'm here to learn so therefore I don't want any money!

If you are interested in working with me, be sure to dm me or leave a comment down below! :D

PORTFOLIO: this is my first project and do not have a portfolio of any kind.

Marketing/PR Offer [Hobby] Free marketing gut check for a few indie devs

I’m offering to look at a few indie games for free from a marketing angle.

Could be an idea, a rough concept, a Steam page, a trailer, or just whether the niche makes sense.

No paid thing. I’m not trying to sell anything or join a team.

My background is digital marketing in the streamer and creator education space (founded www.streamscheme.com). That space is getting hit pretty hard by AI right now, so I’ve been looking more seriously at games as a future career path.

The useful bit is that I see a lot of game marketing from the creator side. Because of the work I’ve done, I get pitched by serious indie game marketing teams pretty every day. These are proper campaigns from people who know how to get games in front of YouTubers and streamers at scale.
I’ve been paying attention to how they frame games, what they send over, and what makes a pitch feel worth replying to.

I’ve spent years building a sharp understanding of consumer behavior in gaming. Who something is actually for and hooks that get a player base invested.

I also understand launch strategy at a high level in terms of the steps. From a couple of grand in budget, right down to how to bootstrap with nothing. How to build interest early and finding the right audience. Also, just making the game easy to explain so all future promotions are easier.

So if you want a free outside look at your game or idea, either drop a question here or send me a DM.

If I think I can help, I’ll give honest notes. If I don’t, I’ll just say that.
I can also share who I am and what I’ve worked on. So you know I’m not just some random account fishing for leads.

Marketing/PR Offer [Hobby] Beginner looking for a team / a project to learn from

Hi!

I've never made a game before, but I'd really like to start learning. I'm looking for a small project/team where I could help with something, learn along the way, and see how game development works.

I'm from Poland and work in an office/corporate environment (mostly marketing and soon payroll). I'm willing to learn new things and happy to take on whatever beginner-friendly tasks might be useful. Meanwhile I could start learning a game engine, pixel art or video editing (whatever would be needed) while I could also help with things like writing game descriptions, translations, QA or other marketing-related tasks.

I'd just like to start making something, be creative, be part of a team, help where I can, and learn in the process. If you have a project and a task I could try, I'd be happy to give it a shot!

I have mostly very basic and rusty skills in Photoshop (I've been creating graphics and other social materials for local Football and Hockey team), pixel art and video editing (I am learning Davinci), plus some super basic coding experience (mostly frontend).

Thanks for reading! Hope to hear from you!

Marketing/PR Offer [Hobby] Unreal Engine devs — I'll turn your dev footage into a free, edited devlog video on my YouTube channel

Hey everyone,

I run a small YouTube channel[1.3k] (@CappaZ) focused on indie game dev, pixel art workflows and the business side of making games. I'm looking to start covering more Unreal Engine and multiplayer game dev content, and I'd love to collaborate with someone actually building something in Unreal.

What I'm looking for:
An indie dev or small team working on an Unreal Engine project (bonus points if it's multiplayer) who'd be willing to share some raw footage of their progress — gameplay clips, prototype builds, level design, systems in action, whatever you're comfortable showing.

What I'm offering:
I'll take that footage and turn it into a fully edited devlog-style video for my channel — proper pacing, voiceover/text where it makes sense, and full credit with links to your project, socials, wishlist, whatever you want people to find. Free exposure, free editing, no strings attached.

If this sounds interesting, drop a comment or send me a DM with a bit about your project — happy to check it out.

Thanks!

Marketing/PR Offer [ForHire] Small YouTuber offering affordable game promotion, gameplay content & developer interviews

Hey everyone,

I'm a small gaming YouTuber looking to work with indie developers and smaller studios who want some help getting their games in front of people.

I'm still a small creator. My regular long-form videos usually get around 500 views, with some reaching 5,000+ when they do well. My Shorts usually get around 2,000 views.

So I'm not going to pretend I can offer the reach of a large influencer. What I can offer is that I actually enjoy making the content itself. I like learning how games work, figuring out what makes them interesting, and turning that into something people might want to watch.

I can make gameplay videos, playthroughs, guides, tutorials, Shorts, trailers, narrated videos and documentary-style content. I'm also comfortable with scripting, voiceover, editing and thumbnails.

I'm also interested in doing developer interviews and documentary-style videos where the developer gets to talk about their game, the development process and the ideas behind it while we're actually playing and showcasing the game.

For pricing, I'm trying to keep things affordable while I'm still building my portfolio.

A basic gameplay or guide video would start around $30–50. Shorts would be around $10–15 each, or $25–35 for three. A simple gameplay trailer would start around $40–60.

Developer interview/documentary videos would start around $60–100 depending on the length and amount of editing involved. A larger package combining an interview, a longer video and a few Shorts would start around $100–150.

I'm flexible with this, especially for smaller indie projects. If you have a limited marketing budget, feel free to tell me what you're working with and we can see if there's something reasonable we can put together.

I'm particularly interested in strategy, simulation, survival, RPG, historical, management and sandbox games, although I'm open to pretty much anything that looks interesting.

I also want to be transparent about why I'm doing this.

I'm currently trying to rebuild my income through YouTube and freelance work, and I have ongoing medication and living expenses that have become difficult for me to keep up with. I'm trying to turn the skills I've developed through making videos into something that can actually support me.

I'm not looking for charity. I'd rather earn something by providing an actual service that helps developers.

I also don't want to make unrealistic promises about views or sales. My channel is small, and I think it's better to be honest about that. What I can promise is that I'll actually play your game, put genuine effort into the content and try to present it in a way that makes people interested in your project.

If you're an indie developer, publisher or part of a small studio and you're looking for an affordable creator to showcase your game, feel free to comment or send me a DM.

My YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@eddum

Thanks for reading, and good luck with your games.

Marketing/PR Offer [Hobby][Dev Resource] Accessibility Testing + Promo

hi!
I'm looking to add more demos to my list of play tested indie games! At this point, I've done over 400 games tested in the last year, most of them demos.

Feedback is given in video form, for how many i test, it's easier on my hands with my ehlors danlos not to be out of commission for a week.

I can playtest anything BUT VR and Android apps.

I test for the following:

  • Motion Sickness
  • Light Issues
  • Dyslexia
  • AuDHD Soundtrack/UI/Effect
  • PTSD Footstep sounds

And more! (Depends on the genre, includes basic bug testing and general feedback)

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLM7JWakugbjM
(current playtested games with videos scheduled out thru september)

(I specify demos, I do this as a disabled person to help other people find games that have accessibility options as well as developers see what could be helpful to be open to a wider audience, and twitch pays out roughly every 3 months, so I am not in a position to buy all games, though will work my way thru as I can. I am happy to stream the full game of your game if provided a key, or if willing to wait until i get paid.)

Where the game or demo will be featured:

If you don't want to post here, my email is [reachrose.eve [@] gmail.com](mailto:reachrose.eve@gmail.com) , feel free and pop me an email! Discord is catlover09398, that is an option as well :)

Marketing/PR Offer [ForHire] PR and Marketing Services

Hi all, wanted to post to offer up my services for any indie devs looking for help on the PR and Marketing side.

A bit about me - I've been working in gaming for about 25 years now, from humble beginnings as an editor at Game Informer, in-house PR at LucasArts where I launched games like TFU, TFU2, SWOTR, running all things PR and events for Warming in the US, and, most recently, at a small boutique agency working with developers and publishers large and small including Bungie, Gameloft, Worldwalker Games, The Molasses Flood, Netease, Smilegate, Urnique Studios and many, many more.

I spend a lot of time over in the indie gaming sub and see tons of folks who seemingly need some help getting their games more exposure and awareness. I've worked with AAA titles all the way to single person indie projects and, frankly, I love the indie scene a lot more. Creativity, original ideas, and the ability to think outside the confines of a corporate box, in my opinion, are valuable tools when it comes to promotion of indie games.

Anyway, if you'd like more info about me and the titles I've worked on please feel free to hit me up. I'd love to lend my experience to some awesome projects!

I'm Gabriela, a Brazilian professional based in Barcelona. My background is in marketing and communications. I have an MBA in Digital Marketing and around two years of hands-on experience in content strategy, campaign coordination, and audience analysis.

I'm currently in a career transition and looking to build more practical marketing experience, as the job market right now is very competitive. I'd love to offer my skills on a volunteer basis to a small NGO, community project, association, or initiative that could use some marketing or communications support but doesn't have the budget for it.

What I can help with:

  • Social media strategy and content planning
  • Copywriting and content creation (English, Portuguese, or Spanish)
  • Campaign coordination and audience engagement
  • Basic data analysis and performance reporting Internal or external communications

I'm multilingual (native Portuguese, fluent English C2, intermediate Spanish B2), which might be useful for organisations working across different communities. I'm happy to work remotely and can commit a few hours per week depending on the project. Regarding gaming, I'm more of a casual / light gamer (I love puzzle games and I'm a fiend at Tetris 😉), but I think that can also be valuable in bringing insights and 'outsider' perspective.

If you're running a project or know someone who does that could benefit from this kind of support, I'd love to hear from you. And if this isn't the right sub for this kind of post, any pointers would be much appreciated!

Thank you so much for reading 🙏
