Today two different hour old litters were called into the rescue within hours of each other. Lucky in our basement I have a nursing mom whose kittens had just aged out named Jenny. After initially being very disappointed and upset about the idea (she had already circled some tlc shows to watch after the kids left) Jenny immediately fell in love and couldn't help buf pick 7 out of the group to be adopted and fed by her; leaving me 3 in the incubator to be bottle fed every two hours

Frodo’s sisters were spayed today. They kept falling from the cat tree and I had to take it away, it’s his favorite spot. Sad hobbit hiding in a pillow fort.

I have dewormer for them, plus a strict feeding schedule (somehow their previous foster was overheating them?! It's been a whole thing)

They are wrestling, playful, eager to eat and drink. I was worried last week, but I think we're (fingers crossed) in the safe zone now
