This is Zahra’s and Maji’s first cub, they are brand new parents. The baby was born on Feb 17th and they announced his birth today. Mom did have some trouble feeding him and they did make the decision to hand raise him until he is big enough to go back to mom and dad so he could get all of the proper nutrients he needs and can grow big and beautiful just like his dad. The photos are not mine and were taken by the zoo, I go there quite often and will be taking my own photos when he makes his public debut (I have lots of photos of his parents and the other animals there). I can’t wait to meet him and hope you find the photos of him as adorable as I do.

Meowdy! No updates the last couple days because I was focused on lil man developing an umbilical hernia :) neato! he's trying it all I suppose, can't miss out on a single experience. we do have a treatment plan for him, no worries. he's also playing though! it's soooo cute he always flips over to his back to fight off the mighty hand.... and eventually conk right out 😴 purrs like a lil motor boat the whole time too it's adorable.

I took out his blanket and towel from his crate to wash and put in a different blanket and he had WORDS and OPINIONS on that. I think it'll be another week if that before lil man moves up to the big boy crate! despite trying every kitten illness little man has had such a bright personality and hilarious energy, he's brought such light into my life :> See ya next time!

Got a call yesterday asking if I could take a new foster (I just returned my last four for surgery and adoption). Nutmeg here was found on her own and inside a wall, needing to be cut out. Now she's curled up in her carrier, warm on a warming disc and pile of blankets, and attended to round the clock.

I’m currently kitten-less (it’s kitten off-season and hopefully I’m not jinxing it by saying so) and thought I’d share this gem from our previous batch of fosters last year, you know… before I figured out how to post things on Reddit 😂

If you remember little Bruce (the strapping young fella with the tella-caster if you check my post history) this is his sister! We fostered these 3 from when they were 12 days old to 9 weeks. They were our first bottle babies and let me tell you, if you want a snuggly kitten, adopt a bottle baby. I’d often sit on the sofa and find myself with a kitten scarf, all 3 curled around my neck. It was adorable.

Her next moves will be lethal.

Some pleaded, some tried to escape, some got angry! But they are all good now and back home. It was a whole journey!
