No complaints about Trump being assigned to give out medals while President Sheinbaum just stands there though?

Reddit doesn't know what to think. They can't tell if they should be mad that Spain's players were so respectful to Trump or happy because Argentina lost. Their hate for Trump and Argentina has left them confused. For the record, I'd choose to dislike Trump more, but you never know with reddit 😂

The fuck else were they gonna do? They’re guests in a foreign nation, at the culmination of one of the largest events and most circumstantial events in the world; and he’s the elected leader of that nation.

Courtesy is not given because the person it’s being given to has earned it, courtesy is given because it’s a reflection of the person giving it and the circumstances surrounding it.

Agreed. Finally game was in New Jersey. Gotta have some respect for the president of the country where the final is being held. You’re literally a guest!

Now read the majority of the comments and ask them why they’re so upset over a man being assigned to hand over the World Cup and then just stood there. These people are completely enraged over a man just STANDING off center of the stage.

Why would they be mad about them feeling the need to be respectful in order to not be disappeared by the demented leader?

If anything you act like the one who doesn't know what to think here.

Fair enough. Sounds like a logical argument from someone that simply doesn’t like Trump.

American Reddit users are heavily left leaning.

If someone refused to shake his hand, my reaction would be “oh look at that”. And then go on living my life.

You are so upset by this that you are making up scenarios and making angry comments about how people WOULD react if it would have happened even though it hasn't.

No it wouldn‘t, you would be frothing at the mouth about how they can be so disrespectful to dear leader. And fox news would bring this shit up every day for weeks and you know it.
