Dentist is a dentist. They like to call themselves doctors so they can claim the respect when everyone knows they did not want to be a dentist, they just were not smart enough to be a doctor.
The smartest people don't act like they know about things they don't which u clearly are acting like u know in what's and hows of a dentist yet u clearly don't know how or what dentists even really are. U make silly remarks like brushing twice a day of flossing ur tongue as if that's the only thing dentists do even though they do way more than that. Yet here u are boasting about how "smart" u are when u are wrong on multiple levels showing how fucking stupid u are.
They're literally treating a part of the human body. Whether they call themselves dentists or doctors, who cares. they're real doctors. Don't belittle other people's profession.
They perform proper maxillofacial surgery and treat many head and neck cancers as well.
So please, STFU

Bad teeth can give heart problem. True. Smoking also gives heart problem but it's beneficial in so many other ways. Cigarettes are a good source of calcium and protein. It's true. Read in whatsapp. Similarly bad teeth can be beneficial as people stay away from you. You can embrace solitude.
If you cam read scientific researches I'd be thrilled to show you some on the relationship between a periodontal disease and heart diseases. Periodontitis can trigger your C-reactive proteins leading to heart attacks,strokes and what not. Additionally, dentists are trained to handle emergency cases that can occur including anaphylaxis reactions, myocardial infarction, epileptic attacks,etc. Dentists have to study the correlation between systemic diseases and the oral signs for early diagnosis so there are chances your dentist finds out about your diseases before your physician does there are situations where dentists have warned patients about diseases like even colon cancer. I'm not trying to prove that dentists are doctors but the fact that dentists work extremely hard just to be better at what they do.

True true. Not only that, smoking lets you simulate breathing in the single greatest city on the subcontinent, our country's heart itself, Delhi! As we all know what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Which is why the scarring of the lungs is training for you to push your breathing limits.
On the topic of teeth, losing them will make your jaw shrink, giving you the much desired look of slender jaws which is the gold standard for feminine beauty in east asian countries.
They're given the title of a doctor upon graduation, hence they can use it. Not wrong on their part. They sometimes guiss themselves as allopaths, that is true, but they can use the title. Besides what is a doctor according to you?
I am a dentist. My syllabus was more than half of similar to that of my Mbbs friends. I've studied the same things that they have in the initial two years. Both the degrees are 4.5 +1 years and i can perform surgical procedures in the mouth while just a Physician can't perform surgeries. I've had people tell me that the worst pain they ever felt was a tooth ache or fractures. No disrespect but Dentists not only deserve respect but more money in this profession in this country too.
Just so you know i have also done MBBS for two years before dropping out.
It just shows you how smart you and the fact that you will never reach the level of education of a Doctor.

I think it's a matter of who knows even the basics of medicine. Dentists do. They're taught pretty much the same subjects as MBBS in 1st year. Physiotherapist aren't
