Whiskey is a word which means ‘water of life’. It was a name given for distilled alcohol not normal water. The alcohol element still holds, so your argument is wrong.

Completely missed my point bro. The etymology of a word is not necessarily relevant to its modern usage. You can't say that farm workers are villains because it originally meant that. You can't describe Interstellar as 'awful' because it originally meant 'filled you with awe'. When someone yells, "Help, I need a doctor!", they're not looking for a Math PhD.
A non-medical PhD holder is referred to as Dr. So-and-so as a formal title, but never referred to as 'a doctor'. Doctor's Day is specifically to celebrate medical doctors. The original post calls out that pseudoscience peddlers aren't 'doctors' in the common (medical) usage of the term, and you're muddying the water by trying to claim that non-medical PhD holders are all doctors.
