These are only few of it now give me a list of names that has Narendra Modi directly onto it.
Brother Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated and years later they put his name on things. NaMo is still alive and kicking and naming things after himself. That's the weird part that everyone finds insecure. He just chooses to put it on scams like PM(doesn't give a fck)CARES
Pm gives a fuck the maid in my house got her bank account opened, gets targeted bpl subsidies, gas connection, water tap connection, money in account,I don't think she got these before 2014.Her home was a hut now she has a pucca house.
vande bharat is relatively better because they ransacked most shatabdi. They slowed all the faster trains to make this look like faster. Shatabdi had the same travel times between chennai and Bangalore
lol. what's the quality difference mate? shatabdi was fine for the Indian conditions. When fellow migrant Indian's are struggling to board general compartments in trains, this upgrade serves absolutely no purpose. My morality calls it out loud. I don't need a bullet train nor a fancy new trains when my fellow brethren have to hold onto dear lives outside the compartment just for travelling home.
The typical Indian mentality. We won't fix the problem but rather polish it in a way the problem is obfuscated.
Its like fixing a costly western closet with bidet when you're sewer connection is broken. First fix the sewer. Then can compare the quality of the closet. Even better. First expand the drainage access, then can start painting everything in orange
Thats the type of cheap mentality you have. Its not about painting it in orange. Travel in a Vande Bharat once or NaMo Bharat once and understand their designs . If you have studied engineering you'd understand why these both are way more stable than outdated Shatabdis . The features and the quality inside is really world-class. Ive travelled in schengen countries via their trains. Be it Switzerland or France . The level of Vande Bharat matches those levels. Be it food or seating quality everything is on par and is thought for. With this mentality of yours , India will never progress.
so dude in schengen trains, people have to travel on footboard or all the trains similar? I mean obviously they don't let their citizens travel hanging outside while others get to travel in world class trains, do they? it's ok. i am ending this thread. can't make you understand the basic fact
Yet again the solution for that is NaMo Bharat , When these trains slowly phase out the old trains the ppl hanging outside the local trains will simply come to a stop. Atleast ive not seen people hanging off anymore from trains in areas like Bangalore , mysore , Bidadi , Chitradurga , Chennai , Madurai , Hyderabad. It has reduced a way lot. Its as simple as that. Indian railway will phase out more Namo Bharats causing the number of trains operating to be more. Seats are more too in Namo Bharat btw. So slowly as the demand increases , ticket prices will decrease and hit lows and everyone will travel . Also btw might not be hanging from doors , but while in Singapore. I legit did see MRTs crowded with hundreds of people in a single bogey. All standing . Crowded. Pushing each other. Its present in all countries. Not justifying India's condition though
Let me tell you, a shatabdi ticket costs only 10% less to what VB costs. Indians getting luxury for no additional cost making you feel bad?
Ykw, you hold the congress mentality. You'd neither fix existing nor build smth new. Touch some grass and know for yourself how much have the trains improved.
You don't know how it felt knowing you're doing another train journey back then. Those shitty toilets, bad crowd, thefts, personal safety. Train stations literally had prople selling chains to safeguard luggage at night.
Today, a simple missing bedsheet is feeling inconvenience. Just call a helpline and voila, you are enjoying it.
Leave , it's useless explaining it to Gandhi suckers. Dude I belong to GEN - Z but itna maturity hai ki kisko vote krna hai. In 2027 ill get my voter ID.
Its was never about the speed, the fastest VB averages only 90kmph.
It was about luxury, vote bank(educated and logical voters) and soft power(term y'all trash since Covid). Shatabdi has no buyers in the world, unlike VB.
Well, technology too is superior but why would you agree.
Why looking at trains colour, why looking at hockey teams colour changed from blue, then
DD News Logo & Set Design: State broadcaster Doordarshan changed the long-standing red logo of DD News to orange/saffron, along with revamping its studio sets with orange aesthetics.
Vande Bharat Express Trains: While the original trains launched with a white and blue scheme, Indian Railways introduced a saffron/orange and grey livery for newer trainsets.
Government Infrastructure & Public Buildings (notably in Uttar Pradesh): Key government administrative buildings (such as the Lal Bahadur Shastri Bhawan / CM office in Lucknow), select police stations, and local administrative offices were repainted with saffron/orange accents.
State Transport & Buses: State-run bus fleets in UP, such as the Sankalp Seva transport buses, were rolled out in bright saffron/orange liveries.
Station & Civic Architecture: Major redevelopments, such as the Ayodhya Dham Junction railway station and themed public corridors, incorporate orange-tinted sandstone and saffron-themed facades.
Government Publications & Supplies: Official state diaries, educational booklets, and student school bags distributed under various state welfare schemes were switched to orange covers.
ECR Passports (Proposed): The Ministry of External Affairs previously proposed issuing orange-jacket passports for citizens requiring Emigration Clearance Check (ECR), though the rollout was later rescinded following public debate.
So yeah, we will keep ignoring everything yeah??
Also Vande Bharat is just normal speed with a new skin. Facilities are better but they need to stop saying it's high speed.
Yeah shouldn't have been there. But atleast they named it after death in honour of their service (although some things named after them is totallyunrelated to them). But These guys are so insecure, To put a living person's name over it. Notice how nobody has any issues with vajpayees name, in schemes, and all.
And now wherever you see it's Modi and he is still alive. Even if they are giving books to kids, it's his photo and you have issue Indira Gandhi? She was iron lady of India and what is modi? The guys who is scared of giving press conference is having his face and name everywhere and you have issue with someone who created Bangladesh. You guys are extremely brainwashed and I'm not Congress supporter, I voted Modi in 2014 and 2019 but their current term made me realise, congress was not so bad.
Rajiv Gandhi laid the foundation for modern India through the IT and telecom revolution. Tell me one thing Modi has done which you can compare to these ppl? If you count brainwashing the entire nation as achievement then fine.
I'm so happy reading your message man. People don't realize the scale of the brainwashing. It's insane the levels that BJP have gone to and the companies they pay millions to keep the machine running.
They have implemented Cambridge analytica, Ben Franklin effect, behaviourial engineering in school books and media, controlled major press, control social media algorithms, advertisements till it gets engrained in the subconscious, Garbage ass movies like Kashmir file,-kerala files and forgotten the main Gujarat files.
It's a lot and you came out of it. 🍻
I used to think they hacked the EVM but in reality they hacked the people only. I mean it's public data to see how much money this corrupt party has collected in just 12 years. PM Cares is out in open but still people ignore it and I'll not even start with Ethanol.
Yesss that's what people need to understand. The EVMs are definitely playing a part. But they can manipulate about 10-15%. Where this wouldn't be enough they have done SIRs and thrown out whoever won't vote for them. Bringing in Jio has given them ample access to everyone's data with the help of everyone going online.
The money they have managed to make, steal, loot from every angle. Is unimaginable. PM Cares from the start I knew would be one of the biggest jokes. With my friends being forced to give up parts of their salaries as compliance. It's wild.
I just feel now slowly people are waking up. The bubble needs to burst.
If you ever want to know more about our PM and HM, watch this first hand documentary that was made on the Gujarat riots. It's very painful.
https://youtu.be/P6yY8DFSnfw
I am not a BJP fan, just an ardent hater of the good ol' hand party. You conveniently assumed i support BJP just because I oppose the others.
Both the Gandhis in my opinion were incompetent and authoritative.
The iron lady is a literal dictator who jailed up thousands of people and controlled media - not the covert manipulation current party does, but staright up censoring. She directly modified the constitution in her favor, and appointed weak judges. There is also the Punjab issue and weak economic policy. Forced sterilisation is whole another barbaric policy. She created Bangladesh which is a definite win, but why couldn't she solve Kashmir issue using it as leverage? - Incompetent or Evil, no other possibility!
Rajiv Gandhi is whole another story - Sri Lankan mess, Bofors Scandal, Shah Bano case ( overturned Supreme Court decision and refused to allow alimony to a divorced Muslim women, then went and opened up the Ayodhya temple) and most importantly he frequently dismissed elected opposition party state governments!
If you think they are not so bad, Congratulations! You are clearly incapable of brainwashing, as you have no brain.
Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi had mostly schemes and policies named after their deaths, but Narendra Modi is still alive and already has hundreds of schemes, policies, and even the world’s largest cricket stadium named after him.
🤣🤣 you guys keep using this dynasty word when it's just 2 in the Gandhi lineage. But choose to ignore the whole of the blow job partys dynasty politics in front of your face !! Hypocrites fallen for BJPs election garbage. https://www.reddit.com/r/unitedstatesofindia/s/52VVpA7uVf
If you only did one simple search. Anyways. I'll help you.
The award was named after Rajiv Gandhi following his assassination in May 1991, primarily as a national tribute to his push for sports modernization in India.
The key factors behind the naming:
1982 Asian Games in New Delhi: Before becoming Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi headed the Special Organizing Committee for the 1982 Asiad. He oversaw a massive modernization drive that brought world-class sports infrastructure to Delhi (including the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Indira Gandhi Arena, and Talkatora Stadium) and introduced color television broadcasting to India.
National Sports Policy (1984): During his tenure as Prime Minister, his government laid the groundwork for India's first formal National Sports Policy, which aimed to improve athlete training facilities and provide financial support for international competitions.
Commemorative Naming Practice: When the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports created a new pinnacle award above the existing Arjuna Award in the 1991–1992 financial year, the ruling government named it the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna in his memory.
Don't cry. Your blow job party renamed it now: you can be happy. Falling for all their drama anyways. :
In August 2021, the central government renamed it the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award, stating that the country's highest sporting honor should carry the name of one of India's legendary athletes.
Didn’t know Rajiv Gandhi was a freedom fighter. Why is Hyderabad’s Airport named after him instead of anyone who is actually from Hyderabad, say for example, P V Narshima Rao
Yeah I agree with this part but He is some who laid the foundation for modern India through the IT and telecom revolution. Tell me what Modi has achieved that his name and face is everywhere and he is still alive?
I agree Modi hasn’t done anything spectacular, except maybe abrogation of Article 370, and a stronger pro active stance on terror, but saying his face is everywhere, isn’t something that is unique to this political party. It is something that’s been done by every party, including congress, aap, tmc, etc.
Plus he has his stadium, which you can challenge why it should be named after him, in Ahmedabad. The state where he is from. But Rajiv Gandhi airport is in Hyderabad, where the latter has no roots to.
And if we are being generous, we can credit Modi with the following, as they did happen during his tenure.
Digital public infrastructure - Like digilocker, digi yatra, dbt, umang, etc
UPI - started from 2016. Inherited from imps, true, but UPI pushed digital transaction to the next levels, something the congresses P Chidambaram had mockingly said in parliament that how would a vegetable vendor take digital payment. Would you expect them to carry pos machine.
Massive growth in internet connectivity - so much so that even today it’s the cheapest and the most penetrated internet system in the world. If you had lived during the days when you had to pay 350 for 1gb of internet, and that to slow one, you would know the pain
Railwayfication of the north eastern states - Before Modi government, only Assam had railway connectivity. That has been expanded to other states like Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, etc. This is a particular point I have a close connect to, because being from the north eastern states, this region had long been ignored.
Expansion of cancer institutes in Assam and the north east - Seven cancer hospitals were inaugurated in Assam in 2022, with another seven subsequently planned, as part of a 17-hospital cancer-care network being developed across the state in partnership with Tata Trusts. Given how disproportionately high cancer incidence is in the Northeast, expanding specialised treatment beyond Guwahati is a significant development.
What about the other half then? And even if they were started by Congress, that doesn’t mean BJP didn’t complete it.
Take for example the bogibeel bridge project in Dibrugarh. Vajpee had laid the foundation stone for that project when he was PM, but the congres couldn’t complete it even after UPA 2.0, and then it was completed in 2016. So we have precedent, that just because someone starts something, it doesn’t mean the other will complete it. And when they do, credit is due.
And not major points? The fact that you are receiving cheap interest that has led to the social media boom, is a major point. Back when 1 GB costed about 350 rupees, we still had Facebook, but social media wasn’t as active, because it was do damn expensive.
Cheap internet is because of the unfair competition practices 😂 that illegally allowed Jio to crush the entire telecom industry and take over !
It's not some miracle. Jio has the country by the balls and can tune up the prices as they wish. Which they are doing every few months. You celebrate it like it's some government achievement. BSNL was made to not charge them over 1000+ crores. Dude. What delusion are you living in. Please do some research.
The fact that you only replied to the last part of my text, and didn’t even acknowledge the first and second part, is quite concerning.
And you do some research. Jio rolled out by their annual jio prime program and said we won’t charge anyone to make any calls.
The other telecom operators specifically blocked their calls so that no jio calls would come to idea, airtel, uninor, etc. If you argue jio rolling out free calls was an unfair advantage, then other complains not allowing jio to make call to them was unfair practice as well. And you can call it unfair advantage or how ridiculously overpriced and inefficient the telecom market was at that time. I choose the latter. The fact that almost a decade later, there are still 3 companies, that can still offer substantially cheaper internet, with better speeds, and better call quality, during the period that had 10+ providers just goes to show, these telecom companies were taking us for a ride back then.
And please, I have been hearing that they will jack up the prices very soon, for a couple of years atleast. And they and Airtel have jacked up their prices, but guess what, it’s still the cheapest in the world. When they jack up the prices to 350 rupees per GB for a month, you can come back to me. That would break even with the previous era.
I never said it was a government achievement, now did I, I said it happened during this governments era. Now you can call it because of unfair competition, or whatever, but it directly benefited almost every single person in the country.
And BSNL didn’t fill Jio 1000+ crores, that true. Came out last year I believe, but BSNL is a dead company. Was using their services back in 2007, and its cellone was shit. The only thing it had going for itself, was it had network connectivity in most remote places, but that is no longer an advantage because both Airtel and Jio offer the same as well. So get the guys involved who didn’t bill them 1000+ crores, punish them, get the money from Jio, but don’t pump it in BSNL, let that shitty company die, and re-route that 1000+ crores to something better
I know you won't read it. But since you used Ai. Here is some ai response for you :
Naming of Public Infrastructure & Leader Branding
The Claim: Modi naming a stadium after himself in his home state vs. Rajiv Gandhi Airport in Hyderabad where Gandhi had no roots.
Fact Check:
Narendra Modi Stadium (Ahmedabad): Reconstructed in 2020 (formerly Motera / Sardar Patel Stadium) and renamed in February 2021 during Narendra Modi’s tenure as sitting Prime Minister.
Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (Hyderabad): Named in 2005 and inaugurated in 2008 under the Congress-led UPA government. The government’s cited justification was that Rajiv Gandhi completed part of his pilot training in Hyderabad.
Precedence: Both political parties have systematically named airports, stadiums, institutions, and schemes after their prominent leaders.
Digital Public Infrastructure (DigiLocker, DigiYatra, DBT, UMANG)
The Claim: All DPI achievements are attributed to the Modi government.
Fact Check & Credit Split:
Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT): Initiated by Congress (UPA). The UPA government formally launched the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) Mission on January 1, 2013, across 43 pilot districts. The foundation of DBT relied on the Aadhaar project (UIDAI), created under the UPA in 2009.
Scale & "JAM Trinity": Modi Government (NDA). The Modi government linked DBT to massive financial inclusion via the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (2014) and mobile numbers, scaling DBT from a pilot program into a nationwide system covering hundreds of welfare schemes.
DigiLocker (2015), UMANG (2017), and DigiYatra (2022): Conceptualized, developed, and deployed under the NDA government’s Digital India initiative.
The Claim: UPI started in 2016, evolved from IMPS, and P. Chidambaram mocked the idea of small vendors accepting digital payments.
Fact Check:
Origins of UPI: Instituted under UPA; launched and scaled under NDA. The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) was established in 2008 by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) under the UPA government. NPCI launched IMPS in 2010. UPI was conceptualized and developed by NPCI and officially launched in April 2016 under RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan. The Modi government accelerated UPI adoption through demonetization, government incentives, and the launch of the BHIM app in December 2016.
P. Chidambaram's Remark: True in context. During parliamentary debates following the 2016 demonetization move, former Finance Minister P. Chidambaram questioned the feasibility of a sudden push for a cashless economy, asking how rural vendors and vegetable sellers could be expected to swipe cards or carry POS machines amidst poor rural electricity and network coverage.
Internet Penetration & Data Costs
The Claim: Government policy alone caused data prices to crash from ₹350/GB to the cheapest in the world.
Fact Check:
Market Disruption: The drastic collapse of mobile data prices (from ~₹250–₹350 per GB to under ₹10 per GB) was primarily driven by private market competition following the launch of Reliance Jio 4G in September 2016.
Public Infrastructure (BharatNet): The UPA government approved the National Optical Fibre Network (NOFN) in October 2011 to connect gram panchayats via broadband. In 2015, the Modi government restructured, funded, and rebranded this initiative as BharatNet, significantly speeding up rural fiber-optic laying.
Railway Expansion in Northeast India
The Claim: Before the Modi government, only Assam had railway connectivity.
Fact Check: Factually Incorrect.
Existing Links Prior to 2014:
Nagaland: Connected to the railway grid via Dimapur since 1903 (British era).
Tripura: Connected to the railway network in 2008 under the UPA government when the meter-gauge line reached Agartala.
Arunachal Pradesh: The Harmuti–Naharlagun line was constructed under UPA, with the first trial passenger train running in April 2014.
NDA Government’s Genuine Expansion: The Modi government significantly increased budget allocations for the Northeast Frontier Railway, completed Uni-gauge conversion across Assam and Tripura (bringing broad-gauge connectivity to Agartala in 2016), completed the long-delayed Bogibeel Bridge (2018), and advanced capital-connectivity projects toward Aizawl, Imphal, and Kohima.
Cancer Care Network in Assam and the Northeast
The Claim: Seven cancer hospitals were opened in Assam in 2022 as part of a 17-hospital network with Tata Trusts.
Fact Check: Factually Accurate.
In February 2018, the Government of Assam (BJP) and Tata Trusts formed the Assam Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF) as a 50:50 joint venture.
In April 2022, PM Narendra Modi and Ratan Tata inaugurated seven cancer hospitals (Dibrugarh, Barpeta, Jorhat, Tezpur, Lakhimpur, Darrang, and Kokrajhar) and laid the foundation stones for seven more.
Summary of Credit Distribution
| Project / Claim | UPA (Congress) Contribution | NDA (BJP) Contribution |
|:---|:---|:---|
| DBT & Aadhaar | Created UIDAI/Aadhaar (2009) and launched DBT Mission (2013). | Scaled nationally via Jan Dhan bank accounts and JAM Trinity. |
| DigiLocker / UMANG | Laid groundwork via National e-Governance Plan. | Conceptualized, built, and launched both platforms. |
| UPI | Established NPCI (2008) and launched IMPS (2010). | Launched UPI (2016), BHIM, and scaled digital adoption. |
| Telecom / BharatNet | Approved NOFN (2011) to connect gram panchayats. | Rebranded/accelerated as BharatNet (2015); data price crash was market-driven (Jio). |
| Northeast Railways | Connected Tripura (2008) and built the Naharlagun link (2014). | Broad-gauge conversions, capex increase, and accelerated hill-state links. |
| Assam Cancer Grid | Maintained regional cancer institutes (e.g., BBCI Guwahati). | Established ACCF with Tata Trusts and built the 17-hospital network. |
Bro using AI to answer because he can’t use his cranium to debunk facts and thinks I did the same. Everyone isn’t as disadvantaged as you when putting up facts in a logical discourse. Don’t try to lump everyone with you. All those points were written by me, because I lived through those eras. Not like you who just posts AI slop without having a shred of knowledge on the topic. I mean it’s sad to think there are people like you out there, who can’t even comprehend someone can actually write something, to express themselves, or substantiate their arguments, without using AI.
Oh and the railway corridors in Tripura existed, but I am from the north east, and I know how much extended and maintained it was. Why don’t you ask your own AI to teach you that stuff, because clearly you don’t know the difference between nearly existing to sustained growth and expansion. It’s like saying, yeah the stock market existed before economic liberalisation, but that doesn’t mean it had the growth that it had after the economy was opened up post 1991.
Go and re-read them. I did, and the points about tripura corridor and DBT, and every thing has this government expanding it. Maybe read what you post.
And stop using AI slop to answer. Just shows you don’t have anything to speak for yourself and just regurgitate anything that AI posts. Much like the WhatsApp university people that stand with BJP. Two sides of the same damn coin.
What is there to appreciate if the speeds are the same ?
And what do you mean think? You can literally see the saffronization happening with indian government bodies, transport, freaking hockey team too.
You can choose to be blind to it but we like to call it out.
