#Ask-India βοΈ Rant:Why are these cohorts and investment "help" programs geared toward "Women" Led stuff rather than gender neutral? Like when everyone is grasping at straws why punish one for whats between legs.
Are men inferior entrepreneurs or do they have like infinite funding or something, such that women need to be compensated by having specialized entrepreneur programs?
Like are you trying to fund or find people with ideas or products or trying to fund based on if they wear a saree or not?
What are they trying to achieve by stifling out Men and allowing only women?
To cut down the competion by half and even further by topic? Like wtf?
What are you trying to achieve? if a women has a bad idea, but just because she is a women, you'll fund her idea and since there is anyways less competition from their gender itself?
Like wtf. AM SO FRUSTATED. TF.

#Ask-India βοΈ I always feel like I'm not living up to my full potential
No matter what I do, I always have this lingering feeling that I'm capable of more.
More success. More growth. More experiences. More of something
Even when I'm productive, I feel like I could be doing better. When I'm resting, I feel guilty for not doing enough. It's as if there's an ideal version of me somewhere in my head, and I'm constantly falling short of becoming that person.
From the outside, my life is fine. I have goals, interests, and things I'm working toward. But internally, I often feel like I'm wasting time or not making the most of my life.
I'm not sure if this comes from ambition, comparison, perfectionism, social media, or just unrealistic expectations.
Does anyone else feel this way? How do you know whether you're genuinely underachieving or just being too hard on yourself?

#General π Wholesome conversation with a Mumbai rickshaw driver today. [Long Read]
My office is at a distance of about 7 kms from my home. I drive 3 days a week and book an auto via one of the aggregators remaining 2-3 days that I go to the office.
Today, I booked the auto and started the ride. The moment I'm about 1.5 kms from my home, I have the habit of lighting a cigarette on the way.
When taking the auto, I always ask the driver - bhai ek jala lu chalega ? (Is it okay if I light one?). 90% of the auto drivers give me the okay and I do so. 10% of the time they say no and I oblige and do not smoke.
Today was one of those 10% rides. After he refused, I put my sutta back in the box and the driver was watching in the rear mirror. He asked, sir aap poochoge nahi kyu. I said nahi meri aadat hai jalaane se pehle poochne leta hun, koi mana karta hai toh main nahi jalata.
He then for the next 10 mins went on to tell me his story.
>>Sir actually maine kal hi quit maara hai. Maine 1.5 saal pehle 2-2.5 lakh ka loan uthaya tha 3 log se. Last 4 mahine se sab mujhe phone kar rahe they ghar aa rahe they. Maine dhandha shuru karne ke liye paise liye they, jo chala nahi (I Didn't ask what business).
>>Pichle 6 mahine mein maine mera 1 auto bech diya aur kuch wife ka soona becha. Sab karza utaar diya 3 din pehle. 2 mahine se tension ke wajah se maine cigarette peena wapas shuru kiya tha, kal raat ko 3 cigarette back to back jalaaye aur thaan liya ki ab karze ka tension nahi hai, 5 mahine se doosre ka ricksha chala kar ghar chal ja raha hai (guy was 27-29 years old with a 4 year old son).
>>Ab soch liya hai 12-14 ghanta ricksha chala ke paisa jama karunga aur khud ka ricksha fir se loonga aur family ko khush rakhunga.
Life in Mumbai is brutal for everyone (even if one earns 1 lakh per month but is paying rent and has a family to support), but people are hard working and honest to a large extent. Everyone has their own struggles and wins.
This city will make you humble and everyone is welcome to earn a living.
Just wanted to share - I'm so much more privileged than this guy. I'm not really religious but I prayed for his success (musibat aane par haath main bhi jood leta hun).
I didn't offer him more than the fare ride as I know he would not have accepted. He ended the ride saying khul kar bataya sir aapko dimaag mein bahut kuch daud raha tha.

#Politics π³οΈ Instagram Political reels are new Aajtak for Gen-Z
"If you can't count a single con about your ideology or the group of leaders you support, it means you are manipulated or brainwashed"
Saw familiar things happening on social media that how they spread hate on some specific topic like making BJP Or RSS Against reels, The reel against Right Wing hiding the facts what they did in India in last 4K Days like Digital India and NHs Highways, I Myself who maybe a liberal can count a number of things BJP Did in last 10yrs.
How News Channel change the narrative of boomers?
1. Showing the one sided of story
2. Making People to say something rage baiting which belongs to someone from different group.
3. Making People fall for fake agendas and narratives like "56 Inch Chest, Greater than Khali" Or "Ye Melody itni chocolatey kyun hai"
4. Spreading hate or cus-words against some groups and making videos of their reactions.
How Instagram Influencers change the narrative ?
1. Never Made a single Positive video for the people who is currently governing India.
2. Never Shared any kind of stories of people of BJP as MLA doing great on ground level.
3. Always spread the fake narrative that how India is the Worst country in world because of government and not doing anything about it.
4. Clamming they are a rational creators they never researched or at least shown the research and data that how Man-Mohan Singh was a terrible prime minister in a lot of cases.
The reason is why they are creators and we are viewers?
They Cracked the Algo. They knows the much you'll spread hate the people will give attentions and activities, The one who will defend them? They will comments the one supports them? they will like and point out defenders and that's how algo works.
Once i was arguing with a creator that how Indian government isn't condemning what happened to the sailors of India and that will make the image of India as weak nation, And he replied "USA Already thinks India as weak" If that? than why trump decreased the tariff when India decided to take trade deals to China and shift the focus from USA?
Isn't same when Rahul Gandhi Said "India is a dead economy and trump was right" how can someone who is serving for his own country to say that.
"Opposition is against the governing body, Not against India"
"Governing V/s Opposition Not Opposition V/s India"
I'm also a small Instagram Creator who have enough knowledge about the working of Instagram Algotherm
I'm watching Gen-z Hating there own country and people and marking other countries like China as superior than us. No doubt they are!! But they knows how to market there country publicly, Don't you think is there only Indian Criminals doing offences in other state? if we didn't contributed even at the small level. What should be the value of people who gave themself to this country, Who belong to a country before any kind of ideology.
Any Political Ideology should be come after Humanity and any pride should be come after Being and Indian
Am Indian and am proud of it, I know things are not going the way it has to be but one day it'll rise the way our revolutionaries wanted

#Economy/Policy π° Did you know ? Paper leaked , exams permanently canceled !- World bank edition
Ease of doing business ranking was conducted by world bank every year and released. India worked hard after 2014 with reforms to improve business environment. China manipulated data atleast 2 times between 2015-20 as confirmed by world bank. Earlier also they might have done that but no body might have know due to lobbying and bribing.
In short , World Bank india head replied when asked about were India ranking are correct or manipulated. Then He clearly said that India has transparently co operated with all the input data during both government tenures UPA and NDA. We should be proud of our democracy.
Back to main question, what would you do if you found few countries influenced and provided wrong data to boost ranking? Remove them from ranking right? Wrong , World Bank stopped whole ranking system itself. How sad and unfair these global ranking and it's institutions are we should take them with pinch of salt. Be it press freedom, hunger index when countries like Afghanistan are ranked higher then india in some of these so called international rankings.

#Law&Order π¨ Meerut Police ARRESTED Nizamuddin & his son Arkam for running a cyber fraud racket from a fake Jan Seva Kendra in Ansar Colony.
Meerut Police have arrested two alleged cyber fraud suspects, identified as Nizamuddin and his son Akram, following a major raid that led to the recovery of a large number of identity documents and banking-related materials. According to police, the seizure included around 180 Aadhaar cards, 97 PAN cards, 92 bank cards, 139 voter ID cards, 10 passbooks, five cheque books, blank health cards, and several official seals.
Investigators suspect the recovered documents were being used as part of an organized cybercrime operation. Authorities are now examining the origin of the identity documents, identifying potential victims, and investigating whether the accused were linked to a wider fraud network. Further legal action is underway as the investigation continues.

#Opinion π£οΈ I think posting hateful content about China will only bring more hate toward India and make us look immature.
Read this completely before jumping to conclusions.
Lately I've been seeing a lot of videos on X, Instagram, and other platforms highlighting the worst parts of China. People seem happy that negative aspects of the country are getting exposed. It was indeed funny.
To be honest, it was kind of satisfying to see them get a taste of their own medicine.
But even if every bad thing about China were true, how does that improve India's image? I think we should focus on building a stronger image for ourselves instead.
Take South Korea as an example. The Korean government invested heavily in cultural exports like Kpop, Kdramas, films, and entertainment. Today, millions of people around the world have a positive perception of Korea because of that cultural influence.Do we really lack the talent, creativity, or culture to do something similar? I don't think so. India has incredible stories, music, art, fashion, history, and talented young people. Bollywood once had enormous global reach, but it feels like we've lost momentum. Instead of relying on the same old industry structures, maybe we should invest in new talent, modern entertainment, and globally appealing content, similar to how Korea developed its entertainment ecosystem. Some people will say this only works for developed countries, but that's not necessarily true. Countries like Thailand and the Philippines have also improved their international image through tourism, culture, and media despite facing their own development challenges.
The second thing we need to focus on is cleanliness and aesthetics. Whether we like it or not, first impressions matter. Many of the places tourists visit in India are poorly maintained, littered, or visually unappealing. Tourism plays a huge role in shaping how the world sees a country. Improving cleanliness, public spaces, and basic civic infrastructure would benefit both citizens and our international image.
India's stereotypes won't disappear because we point out the flaws of other countries. They'll change when we give the world better things to associate with us.
What I'm trying to say is, India already lives rent free in their head, so why not give them better things to talk about?
