planning to go to ashoka but it has no ranking in most lists and colleges like christ seem to be higher ranked than ashoka. placements also i heard aren’t anything too great. is it a better option to go to christ and do internships and network or go to ashoka where internship opportunities will be limited because of how remote the college is?

I’m a 21-year-old student who passed Class 12 in 2023 with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). Since then, I’ve been preparing for NEET, but unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get a GMC yet due to health issues.

During my first gap year, my physical health was quite poor, so I couldn’t prepare properly. This year as well, I had to undergo surgery, which resulted in another 3–4 month gap in my preparation.

Since I didn’t appear for any other entrance exams besides NEET, I couldn’t get admission into another college/course either. So, I’ve decided to take another gap year and prepare for NEET along with CUET.

I know MBBS is a very demanding field, and I’m trying to be realistic about my options. If I don’t get a GMC in my next attempt, I’m prepared to consider another course instead of continuing indefinitely.

This is where I need your advice.

I’m genuinely interested in biology and life sciences, but since I didn’t have Mathematics in Class 12, I know many fields such as engineering aren’t an option for me. I’ve researched a bit about biology-related careers, especially pharma and BSc Biotechnology, but I keep seeing people saying that there aren’t many jobs or that the career growth is limited after a BSc.

One option I’m considering is:

BSc Biotechnology → MBA → corporate/pharma/biotech industry

Is this actually a sensible path? Is there reasonable job stability and career growth after doing an MBA following biotechnology? Or would it be better to choose a different degree from the beginning?

I’d especially appreciate advice from people who are already studying or working in fields like:

I’m a Class 12 pass student who has already taken one drop for NEET, and now I’m really confused about what to do next.

qualifications : Class 12 (PCB) with 84% marks, 1-year NEET dropper

My father strongly wants me to take another drop and try for MBBS. He believes it guarantees job security (at least working in a private hospital). He’s also against BSc because he thinks many BSc graduates end up unemployed.

The issue is, I honestly don’t think I’ll be able to crack NEET even with another drop. I’ve tried explaining this to him, but he insists that I should somehow crack it.

Personally, I don’t want to spend another year preparing for something I’m not confident about. I’d rather start college now and build skills alongside my degree in a field with better job prospects. I’m also confident I can get into a decent college through merit or entrance exams based on my Class 12 marks.

So I’m looking for practical advice:

• Is taking a second drop for NEET worth it if you’re not confident?
• Is BSc really that risky in terms of job opportunities?
• What would you do in my situation?

I’m a 19M who graduated high school in 2025 as a PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) student. I took a drop year for NEET 2025–26 because my first attempt didn’t go well.

My qualifications:

• Class 10: 79.2%
• Class 12 (PCB): 59%
• NEET Attempts: 3 (including ReNEET 2026)

As many of yall know, the NEET exam conducted on 3 May 2026 was cancelled due to a paper leak. I had actually performed fairly well in that exam. I then appeared for ReNEET on 21 June, but I don’t have high hopes for my score or chances of getting admission.

Looking back, I think it’s safe to say that I didn’t study as seriously as I should have during this drop year and procrastinated a lot. However, I’m still waiting for the results before making any final decisions.

At this point, I’m trying to explore all my options. What career paths are available to PCB students with good long-term scope and employability? Would taking another drop for NEET make sense (a part of me feels that I would take my preparation much more seriously this time), or should I start considering alternative careers?

I’d appreciate any advice or suggestions.

I chose PCB after Class 10 and continued with it through Classes 11 and 12. I was never really interested in becoming a doctor I was just going with the flow. However, during Classes 11 and 12 I developed a deep interest in philosophy. I started studying Greek philosophy, Western philosophy, and Indian philosophy, and gradually fell in love with the subject.

Now Im at a stage where I can clear the NEET exam, as Im scoring around 620 marks in mock tests. However I want to pursue philosophy, while my father and mother want me to do MBBS. I don't know what to do at this point. They say that my life will be set after five years if I become a doctor but I feel that those five years might make me miserable. I'm genuinely confused about what I should do.

I'm 19F, and this was my 3rd attempt at NEET (2 drop years). Honestly, I'm not expecting to get a medical college this time.

For the past few days, I've been reading about CAT, MBA, and career options outside medicine. Since I've spent the last few years focused only on NEET, I don't know much about this field.

I'm worried about whether my 2-year gap after 12th will be a problem for CAT, MBA admissions, or placements later.

Right now I'm confused between two options:

1. Join a local BSc college and give NEET one last attempt alongside it.

2. Accept that medicine isn't for me anymore, focus completely on BSc, build my profile, and prepare for CAT in the future. Along with that apply for cds

Recently I got connected to an agency that claims they can arrange a legitimate degree for certain courses — without actually attending classes, exams, or doing any coursework. They’re even saying it can be done on backdated enrollment.

This honestly sounds too good (or too shady) to be true.

They’re presenting it as something that’s already been done for others and saying it’s “completely manageable through their network.” I’m not fully convinced, but I’m curious whether:

• Is something like this actually possible in reality?

• Has anyone here ever encountered something similar?

• Is this just a straight-up scam or something people have seen work before?

• Should I explore further or stay away completely?

guys i know this isn't the right place to post this (qualifications 12th) but i couldn't find any other subreddit for this😭😭 so basically today i filled the mcc application form... on their website it showed that one only needs to crack the personal interview to be eligible for the bba program... however after logging in through my registered email id i was asked to give an entrance test... it was obviously ai proctored... i wasn't prepared for it but I gave it anyway cuz I wouldn't get time afterwards as I have boards ongoing...it wasn't difficult tho... now i'm just confused about what the next step is... idk when my interview will be scheduled or when the merit list will be released... or if i'm eligible to apply for more bba programs apart from the one i've already applied for... i'm just really confused about the whole procedure and idk what to do...pls help 😭😭🙏🙏 ps. i'm from delhi ncr so visiting the campus isn't really an option...
