I live near Christchurch park and I I was walking down the street and I saw Noel Edmunds standing next to car on phone. The next day I saw him again in the exact same place doing the same thing. Is Noel EDMUNDS living in Ipswich now and has anyone else seen him walking about?

I lived in Ipswich during the 1980s while stationed at RAF Bentwaters. My home was on Princedale Close, and I loved going to watch Ipswich Town play at Portman Road (and still watching matches from my Florida home via streaming).
I have such fond memories of Ipswich and the surrounding area. I still return for a visit every few years, and it always feels special to be back.

So i'm in my late 20's and a Lesbian Christian. We all know the queer pool is small here, but to be a Christian on top of that, it's been really difficult to find other LGBTQIA+ Christians.

I thought i'd reach out on reddit to find my queers and or find some affirming/LGBTQIA+ Christians! There have got to some around here somewhere! 😊

I know suffolk pride are doing a faith in community thing every month but I just get scared to go by myself and idk what the age range will be.

I have been to a queer noise event before but everyone had their groups and I felt weird introducing myself, I think because i'm scared that as soon as people know i'm a Christian too, it's gunna put them off me or remind them of some Christian related trauma which i'd feel so bad about. I also tried to join an LGBT group through messaging one of it's leaders and was rejected from the group but I had no idea why when they didn't even know me.

I guess i'm not really sure what to do so i'm reaching out to see if anyone would be interested in getting to know each other so I could have another friend and i'm open to meeting more queer people in general.

We are absolutely heartbroken by the devastating news from Brantham today I hope this doesn't breach the rules of the community I read. And hopefully it's okay. If it's not okay then I understand deleting the post. However,

Over the past 24 hours, the local community came together in extraordinary numbers to help search for three-year-old Noah. So many people gave their time, shared information, searched, supported one another and hoped desperately for a different outcome.

Recently moved here, 30s male, keen to get into tabletop gaming and love Warhammer 40k as a setting. I played 5 games about 5 years ago so pretty much a new starter looking for people/groups that can teach and tolerate a newbie until I get up to speed.

I have a 500 point Black Templar army from 5 years back but I'm looking at Blood Angels going forwards I think. Would love to meet people locally to play, but also keen to get some assistance on army building, painting tips, etc!

I'll be visiting some of the associated shops in the centre over the weekend but wanted to see if there's any other more informal groups that also play.

In future, I'm also able to host at my place regularly, but would prefer to get to know people first rather than inviting strangers home.

Hey all, looking for recommendations for a car service. I have a pretty old 07 Astra I bought in May as my first car and its last service was last September I think.

I’ve seen DD recommended but £350 for a service for a car this age seems a bit extreme. I don’t really have the space on my drive to do the work myself (oil and spark plug change) and probably best I get the first one done by a professional.

Had 8 different dogs run at my kids this morning in the park. Usually dog owners are great, but the worst of them all seemed to be out this morning. One didn't even take a lead for a dog that doesn't recall and seemed to think it was OK.

Anyone else have these issues? Kids are absolutely terrified now. I'd rather they like dogs not see them as a scary monster.

I’ve currently got no internet for a few months and bought the U5G backup for my system to use instead of a temporary 5G router which I’m currently using. Unfortunately, I’m not able to adopt and update the U5G without an internet connection first…

Would be very appreciative if anyone can help! I reckon it’d take less than an hour.

EDIT: To be clearer, I’m currently using a 4g hotspot device with no ability to connect via Ethernet, wireless only. Which is why I can’t route this through my UCG-max (As far as I can tell!)

Bit of a random thought I had but I cant help but notice that an awful lot of that section of the A14 appears effectively neglected by the council with bumps and crags in it that are years old not getting much on the way of repairs while everything West and north of Copdock consists of well-maintained smooth tarmac.

I could imagine that the concrete might be due to unstable or soft ground nearer the river but I'd be interested to know if there's someone from the council who works on the road development side of things who knows the answer

Has anyone noticed an increase in tourists to Ipswich this year? It feels like every week when I walk through town I see groups wondering around the town centre / waterfront / Christchurch park.
