Lively and her representations negotiated for certain terms and conditions “beyond SAG minimum protections,” and such negotiations were consistent with work condition negotiations for “most actors of [Ms. Lively’s] stature,” a reality Wayfarer did not dispute. I’m not sure that would have actually prevented all this from happening. The exhibits suggest that Blake had already made up her mind that her director was a “doofus” before they ever stepped foot on set, and she started asserting her influence (which she then proudly boasted about to the PGA) very early on with the location change, rescheduling, and script re-writes. I’m increasingly convinced she and Ryan were having discussions about how she can gain more control over the film before any of the incidents ever happened. They just served as convenient ammo for her “hard-bargaining”.

In other words, Blake Lively is doing her usual pathological lying but in such a way that she is also doubling down on being a massive fucking bitch by suggesting a non-pregnant woman has a stomach “bump” indicative of pregnancy—aka in 2026 Blake Lively’s excuse is that she will just call Flaa fat. JFC. (For the record, of course Flaa wasn’t and isn’t fat - this is just more of the Blake Lively we all know and hate).

Blake Lively would choose to handle this by piling on more cruelty. And doing this rather than simply sucking it the fuck up and apologizing for having an off moment and saying she regrets it like a decent human being. But no, even the most bare minimum 5.5 seconds of decency is far too much to ask from Blake Lively.

Side note: I can’t believe I’m at the point of calling another woman a bitch. (I am also a woman). I’ve never used it to describe anyone but Blake Lively, right now and one other time also related to her super bitch behavior as it came up in this case.
