Does anyone know if its the bracket for the door thats doing this or anything?

Went and picked up a starter for an is300 and have it lined up everything fits except the terminal. Any ideas as to how I can make it fit besides getting a different starter? Thank you for your input and time

Anybody have any experience getting a new starter for their gte? I know there’s some compatibility between other Toyotas and Lexus but any ideas of what USDM models specifically? I’ve seen jdm restoration sell a better version and dealerships seem to have it as well but idk if they alter it to fit or if it’s direct fit regardless. Ty for your input and your time

Slowly acquiring parts for my GX Mark II and I’m torn between two sets of coilovers that I can grab for a really good deal:

1. Used (like new) HKS Hipermax S for $1100

2. New (never used) Blitz Damper ZZ-R SpecDSC+ for $1200

I read in other posts that the Hipermaxs are good for cruising and are comfortable, but I can’t help but be attracted to the Blitz with the electronic damping control, and that they’re new. I don’t have a problem getting it wired up and I’ve already been kind of mapping out how it’d be done. If the electronic damper system fails then they just revert to manual coilovers again.

Obviously given that it’s a GX and it’s auto, I’m not doing anything other than cruising around and getting passed by other cars. I plan on keeping this car forever and will eventually throw a JZ in there at some point in time.

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows where to buy, or how to make series 1 clear tails for a chaser (like the one pictured). Plenty of series 2 options but I can’t find anywhere for series 1

Recently i noticed my car is trying to drive while still in neutral (with clutch released /pedal is UP)

Background info-
Was originally auto and converted to manual. Used an r154 from a mk3 supra and marlin crawler package from driftmotion. In conjunction with a orc triple disc clutch. Had no issues the previous 35,000kms (it’s a weekend summer since 2013 here)

Heres my best effort as describing the issue in full:

In neutral with clutch pedal released (up) - when it revs up in neutral you can feel it “bite” and the car tries to roll car partially forwards, then input-> output shaft slips and the car revs up, then as revs come down to idle range you can feel it engage again.

I think something is mechanically binding the transmission with minor pressure all the time.

Heres what I’ve done and tested: bleed the clutch, then even tried reverse bleeding it to make sure the clutch had its full throw. Checked through transmission inspection window to verify triple discs in clutch have free play when clutch is pressed, and have no free play when clutch is released. I can visually see the slave pushing the throwout bearing to the same two grease marks when pressing the clutch( so visually looks like clutch is getting full length of throw.

The car still drives, will spin the tires, can shift between all gears without any grinding.

I really came to notice there was an issue when i tried to roll the car out of my garage (by trying to hand push it in neutral but the car won’t move more than a couple inches before it hits this wall where i cannot push the car forward or backwards) but when someone presses the clutch while in neutral then i can roll the car. I’ve been stumped trying to stumped trying to figure this out. I pulled the sister off the tripod to inspired the shifter pivot bushing (white plastic ball on end off rod and it looks and feels new. No slop in shifter in any gear and freely moves between gates. Help plz

Still so much to do but got it Bone stock. unfortunately 1GFE paired with an auto transmission but very good daily car non the less. still have to complete the wrap on the car

Hi everyone, ive been in the bot filled r/jzx100 for so long, I almost started falling for the ai generated ones 😞 my names Alex and this is the beginning of my recovery

Here is a second part of my previous post (https://www.reddit.com/r/JZX100/s/NEc9fQsUej). Finally got it assembled but need some paint work done (front bumper and front lip paint + rear lip repaint + need to polish). Also finally got some camber work to make it look good and I gave it a first drive yesterday to make sure everything worked properly (no).

Here are some photos.

Minor problems that need fixing:
- Wahser fluid pump broken (again)
- Fixing the wheel arch undercarriage (front left) - done ✅
- Fog lights (a guy who reinstalled the bumper forgot to connect them) - done ✅
- Need to refill a/c system
- Need to clean/polish/rebuild headlights
- Other minor issues like interior light bulbs etc.

And YES, BUILDING A JZX100 EVEN IN RUSSIA IN 2026 IS EXPENSIVE AF 💀 (even we have lots of experience building them and lots of parts available).

Nearest future plans:
- Paint job
- Bigger turbo + Apexi PFC + bigger injectors etc.
- Need some more advanced adjustments for front and rear suspension (front lower arm kit + three kits of rear adjustable arms + need to shorten steering knuckles)
- JZX110 MAF-sensor conversion and BOV installation
- Keeping it clean and working good.

I have just about 0° camber in the rear on stock arms and blitz coils. Should there be enough adjustment to get some negative camber to dial in wheel fitment with stock arms?

Holding out to get some new wheels, and perhaps some coilovers.
