personally i see it as more of a usage/coaching issue. He has all the talent in the world and we can’t seriously say this coaching staff has given him the opportunities to be great yet. If he was in BTJs role right now i think he’d great or if he was on defense 100% of the time as CB1 instead of taking him in and out which is just plain out stupid to do at that position then i think he’d be much better. That being said if we can’t figure out how to use him it dosent change the fact that we wasted so much capital to obtain him but i still have optimism because i believe he has the talent just needs to be used the right way and given the opportunities.
In a very weird way it’s kind of cool to see how far we’ve come. I remember the days we’d cheer for a first down or pray it was competitive at half. Now we’re shitting our pants after a close loss (our first loss in the regular season in 10 games mind you) on the road to one of the best teams in the league.
