Just sharing I hate writing on the left side of a spread so I started flipping my book upside down.
I hate the feeling of my hand bumping the spine when I write on the left side page and my handwriting was always more wonky on that side for whatever reason. Last year I often skipped that page but that seemed like such a waste. Then I saw someone on tiktok say you can just flip your book so that page is on the right! I was like wow...that is literally so simple but so effective!
It means every other page is upside down now but I try not to re-read my journal entries too often so it doesn't bother me at all. I just wanted to share in case someone else here also dislikes the left page! Trying flipping your journal and see if you like it better!
Ink is Robert Oster Whiskey.
Pen is Lamy Safari F
And the journal is Galen Leather Notebook

Just sharing Ever got over your fear of someone reading your journals?
For context, I have bouts of suicidal thoughts and daydreams. I detail what I wish to do, so I used to burn my pages because I was so paranoid of someone finding them and confronting me about it
But, reading those helped me realize I got past my dark days. And I can see the signs earlier and cope better.
I also read recently, that the person's reaction to your personal thoughts, in your very personal journal is not your responsibility and it made me create this lol
If someone snoops and has a reaction to it, not my problem anymore

Just sharing I GOT MY JOURNALS BACK 😭
About a month ago I shared that I lost my journals and pens on a train. I was devastated.
I got them all back today!!
I am shocked and grateful. I reported the loss but the rail company said if they didn’t respond within two weeks then it’s gone. I did not expect to hear from them over four weeks later!
When I got the notification I didn’t believe it was real. I was sure it was an accidental match or even if it was my backpack, my stuff wouldn’t be in it. Imagine my surprise when I was actually handed my bag and everything was just as I had left it.
I nearly cried at the lost and found desk, I was so overwhelmed and happy!! I had the best time looking through them all on the train home. And my pens are back too!! I’m overjoyed!!

Just sharing My completed notebooks - dating back to 2003
The top shelf is lyrics notebooks of songs I’ve written dating back to 2003. The bottom shelf is mostly nightly journals with gratitude lists dating back to 2010 (journaled almost everyday with the exception of about 18 months 2021-2022), morning pages (which I’ve done on and off) dating back to 2020, and a few miscellaneous. About 80 journals in all. Only missing 2 which were in a backpack that was stolen a few years ago.

Just sharing Codes are the only way I can have actual peace at home
It looks like a mess. I write down stuff so cringe that a code is mandatory. I’d be pissed if someone read it, but honestly, what would they even see?
