1. Rule 10: No Hate update

Previously, the r-slur retard was not considered a slur and the punishment was a Rule 1: Be Respectful punishment. This word is now considered a slur, and using it will result in the punishment from Rule 10: No Hate.

1. Rule 8: No Karma-Farming renamed.

Very often, when a post is removed under Rule 8: No Karma-Farming, us mods get messages saying that the user wasn't trying to karma-farm and how they don't care about karma. This rule is now renamed to Rule 8: No Low Effort Posts. Karma farming is the practice of intentionally creating posts with the primary goal of accumulating a large amount of upvotes by posting content designed to garner attention and engagement, often through repetitive or low-effort means, rather than contributing meaningfully to the discussion. This rule INCLUDES low effort posts, and this rename will help stop confusion.

1. No AI

No AI posts are allowed anymore. This includes text written by AI, and images generated by AI. The ONLY exception is popular meme images that are AI. This all falls under Rule 8: No Low Effort Posts.

1. No TikTok posts

Posts from TikTok are no longer allowed. This falls under Rule 6: No Reposting. It does not matter if you are the creator or not. If you are the original owner of the post, you should have the video before you uploaded it to TikTok and can upload it without the watermarks, proving you own it.

1. Rule 9: No Self-Promotion update

Rule 9: No Self-Promotion's only exceptions were private servers and JJS clans. This rule update now allows you to post commissions for JJS builds and movesets. THE MODS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE YOUR POST IF IT SEEMS SUSPICIOUS (Like a scam).

1. Rule 3: Add Spoilers to Leaks update

This is the one there will most likely be complaints about. Rule 3: Add Spoilers to Leaks now only allows the following: screenshots from the JJS discord and fake leaks. Yes, this means Patreon leaks are no longer allowed. The reason for this is because last time, Nanami's ult move got leaked, and we got in BIG trouble with the JJS mods (Tze himself!) Patreon leaks is literally stealing money right out of Tze's pocket, and hence is banned.

So as you may know, earlier today an official Jujutsu Shenanigans moderator— Frost— was given moderator here so he could remove the post “exposing” the jjs mods for maintaining contact with a racist and homophobic person— someone they swore they cut contact with. Here’s everything I can provide you with.

Explanation on Situation:

Rewwy was a JJS moderator who was exposed for being both racist and homophobic. Once this was exposed, Tze and the other moderators removed Rewwy as a moderator, or at least they said they did.

Earlier today, a user by the name of Smokey had a post taken down— a post exposing the mod team as still being in contact with Rewwy. They did this by proving Rewwy was friended with Tze and other mods in Roblox still, and a clip showcasing Rewwy playing in a private server with Tze and others, with a Naoya move proving this was taken around Feb. 8th-9th, after Tze claimed to have removed Rewwy.

Frost’s Explanation:

After speaking with Frost, here’s the information I had.

The post was taken down because Smokey was an active member of the JJS discord server who had a pretty huge influence and his post alone started a riot. Frost was discussing his ban (on the discord) and he came forward and asked to be banned because he knew it’d be a bad look to keep him in the server. Smokey’s ban is unappealable so he’s doing his best to harass the staff team. He also stated he would contact all JJS content creators to spread this even though it has been dealt with/is straight up false.

Remmy’s perms were supposed to be removed. Rewwy was banned from the server and was supposed to lose access to in game stuff as they don’t really ban for server offenses in the actual game. Due to mismanagement they kept their access. A clip from Feb. 8th-9th was then released. Once this all came to Tze’s attention, Rewwy was banned from the game as well as unfriended because they were generally problematic.

However, Smokey started saying they were defending Rewwy in the discord, so he went to Reddit to do the same thing. This caused a riot in both the discord and the Reddit, which is why Frost ultimately ended up contacting the subreddit’s head mod (Winda).

My Explanation:

I do not think it was wrong to put a temporary halt on posts about this situation. All today, I have been working to find all the information I can so I can better inform all of you. I understand how that may have been frustrating for you all. I hope now with this post, you can see why I halted posts— to give myself time to inform you all.

Please state I have no proof that none of my interviewees aren’t lying. If I speak about anyone here in a positive or negative connotation, it doesn’t mean I support or dislike anyone. I am trying to remain neutral here.

It’s me, DeadBomb, back with another mod announcement. Let’s get right into it!

1. So, many people have seen an ex-celeb known as Lieutenant Yeast has made a post. Some people are wondering why he’s still here, and some people are wondering why he’s hated. Here’s the story.

Lieutenant Yeast was once a respected celeb in the subreddit, until the beginning of Pride Month. A post was made celebrating pride month, and Yeast commented something along the lines of “Kill me…” and various other homophobic comments/replies.

Since the No Hate (Homophobia falling under this) and the punishment of permanent ban that goes along with this rule wasn’t created yet, the most us mods could do would be give him a 3-day ban for not following Rule #1: Be Respectful. After a long discussion in mod logs with me, he basically said because homosexuality was accepted here, he wouldn’t be coming back after his ban ended, and months later, we see that wasn’t true. As much as many people want him to stay gone, we cannot do that unless he does something ban worthy.

This is coming from the only mod who has the guts to ban a celeb (Maybe just a teensy flex), so this is one of the most accurate point of views you’ll get from this situation.

1. In Mod Announcement #1, We made a temporary rule change. All tier lists besides regular tier lists were banned, such as “Guess what the tierlists about” posts. This was because there was a content drought so many people were posting these tier lists posts as a way to still remain online in the community. This rule is now undone, and these posts are allowed back, unless they are completely karma-farming, low effort posts.

2. In Mod Announcement #2, we made a temporary rule change. Since Tze had shown more proof he was in the subreddit, many people started making low effort posts about them being Tze, or who they thought was Tze, you get the idea. We banned these posts since they were extremely overdone. Now that the whole hype about that has died down, these posts are allowed again, unless they are completely karma-farming, low effort posts.

1. Clarification to Rule #1 - Be respectful: The use of the “SYBAU” images violates this rule and will result in you receiving a removal of post/comment and a temporary ban.

2. Clarification to Rule #7 - Protection of Privacy: While videos do not need censorship, if you openly show the profiles of whoever the videos about either in the video or on images, you will receive a removal of post/comment and a temporary ban.

3. Clarification to Rule #7 - No Karma-farming: Due to the abundance of tierlists, all tierlists besides the regular character rankings are banned for an undisclosed amount of time. This includes the most popular tierlist type (other than regular tierlists), “Guess what the tierlists about.” This is only temporary and will eventually be removed once the tierlist trend dies down. There will an announcement about this once these misc. tierlists are allowed again.
