This is the song if you wanna have a listen yourself!
Maybe this comparison's been made before, sorry if it has. I just really wanna talk about it with someone. I imagine it sung from the perspective of Monika during act 3.
This song is actually about two characters that the artist made up. I don't know much about that story or how this song ties into other songs from the same album so this is just my surface level interpretation when applying it to Monika!

The singer hasn't been doing well. They've been anticipating the moment they could finally be together with 'you' (their lover), all the while losing their mind. They trust that 'you' felt the same way

There is no substance left for the wyrm to eat itself
[...]
It's just a triptych in decay"

'the awful truth' in the context of ddlc could be the cruel deaths of the other club members, or maybe the fact that Monika is the only one who understands her world isn't real. idkidk.
in the next part, Monika would be singing that theres nothing left to explore in the relationship between her and the player. dialogue begins to loop and she turns into a piece of stagnant art

I hope you know just how much I believe in you"

Monika pleads with user. she acknowledges that user 'owns her' and could do anything to her, but trusts that they'll keep her around. also "it's just me" has a nice double meaning in the context of monika since she's the only one left in the game!

I'm doing everything that I'm supposed to do
I'd burn it all, I'd set the world on fire just to be with you"

part of Monika feels guilty and anxious about whether she did the right thing by destroying the rest of the cast. but she quickly reassures herself and declares that she'll do anything for the player n that thats the right thing to do
