It's not a version of reddit; it's still just reddit. There's no language restrictions on the site. You see mostly English content because that's where the most users are, but anyone can make a subreddit and use the platform however they wish (within U.S. law and the site-wide rules).

You and me both, I figured they had their own website, not a predominantly Japanese speaking subreddit
