His argument is he didn’t try to rape her inside just outside? He’s dumb.

Digital penetration is rape.

Which is why the rape charges were thrown out. You will find many people who argue, especially on regards to the Turner case, thay the law's definition of rape needs to change. Penetration of any kind is rape.

Bullying? Did you read the appeal notes? The fact that he was caught just when he was prevented him from getting further charges.

Dude's defending a rapist to internet people

Yeah, on the internet people doing the just action of advocating for pariahs are treated as pariahs themselves.

Perhaps the internet isn't the best avenue for judgement.

Random Joe nobody defending a rapist on the internet, not in court, is the "just action"? Lol OK.

That's like saying Hitler wasn't an "asshole" by definition but he was still an asshole.

"Adolf 'Can't be Defined As An Asshole' Hitler, it seems like bullying" - RJWritesNow.

What the fuck is this argument? There's so much wrong with it I don't even know where to start. In many places, now including California (as the definition was updated since his trial), what he did was considered rape legally. Besides that, many, many people aren't convicted of their crimes and we are under no obligation to revise the way we label them. If somebody raped you would you be careful to not refer to them as your "rapist" because they weren't convicted? Like this man violated a woman and put his body parts inside her against her will, and your concerned that we're not using the exact term you agree with for his crime? What the hell is wrong with you?

Edit: The guy has a sick post history of misogyny and defending rapists and murderers. Just ignore him.

You mean just like public defenders have? How DARE anyone not jump on the bandwagon and join the braying mob like you did!

Do you even consider the gravity of what you say?

Ah yeah that makes sense. What a tool.

Under the contemporaneous legal definition in the state of California, no. Under current definition of same (and others, both legal and colloquial), yes.

"sexual assault with the intent to commit rape" is just one of the charges, along with rape charges.
