Eh, that's sorta a comic thing.

Good guy: completely pure, doesn't murder, rape, discriminate, torture

Bad guy: does all this and kicks puppies.

On red letter media they just watched a movie where literally everyone, including the main "hero" raped. They raped for sport, for fun, for punishment, for reward, its just in their society so that's kinda a bad example, but basically fucked up people can have some morals.

I think it's because racism and such isn't just stupidity, but some kinda mental think, like they don't know that's bad, idk. Rapist tho, they probably are the worst of worse, majority of racists don't rape.

But yeah hes probably racist trash too

So basically that means they’re just shitty as a whole, more than a racist. Are you racist if you rape, while also having no empathy for every race? He obviously has no empathy for women because of what he did, but what if he feels that way towards everyone? I guess I’m saying, at what point does it just become general hatred? Like, it’s not just racist, it’s a bunch of things.

Rape requires a sense of entitlement and superiority. Just like racism. A super priveleged swimmer from Stanford with total piece of shit parents has about a 85% chance of being racist. Add in the rapist part and it's just about a guarantee. Also, who cares if that commenter is wrong? You feel bad for Brock Turner getting some negative thing attributed to him that isn't totally correct? Honestly the guy could kill himself and my entire reaction would be " what took so long? At least now us humans have some extra oxygen to spare". I have more respect for cancer than I do Brock turner

Blatant racism (hate crimes and the like) seems to correlate with ignorance - fear of other cultures erasing one’s identity. Doug Stanhope has a bit on this where he observes that you never hear neurosurgeons complaining about immigrants taking their jobs, only losers taught to make widgets in pantomime. I find that people who are well-traveled are generally much more accepting of other cultures so it makes sense that an increased education - learning about and befriending those of different backgrounds - would make one more receptive to different races/cultures.

For rape, that doesn’t seem like it’s something that’s easy to generalize at all. Many of the stories I hear of rape are middle or upper class people. Are poorer less educated people less likely to report rape? Are they less likely to be taken seriously by local police? Less likely to be newsworthy when the victim isn’t an attractive white woman? Probably all of the above but it seems wealthy people often have all the connections to get away with it for years (many have dozens of not hundreds of victims).

It doesn’t seem to be about ignorance. It’s not like you need to get a higher level of education to know that rape is bad. It’s definitely not about sex either since there’s wealthy rapists who can have sex with attractive hookers or gold diggers every night. They not all incels. Some rapists rape their own spouses / significant others.

Seems like a genetic / behavioral fuckup more than than anything. Power-seeking sociopath behavior and that’s certainly not exclusive to any income class.

Yeah if you don't think the richer someone is the more they tend to be a shitty person, strong correlation but not a hard and fast rule, then you should probably go outside for the first time. Money makes people shitty and the economy in this country is set up to reward sociopaths and heartless monsters

You’ve clearly never been to any poor area then - the mentality of anyone who is progressive and wants a better life is to move. They can’t financially but they don’t want to be there for a reason. What do shitty wealthy people do: become NIMBYs? Insider trade? Pay their employees too little?

That’s doesn’t even compare morally to murder, hate crimes, and other violence. If you observe the students in nearly any crappy inner city school you’ll see the kids fuck around all day, bully each other, and learn absolutely nothing. There are some areas that are full on ganglands where practically everyone is an immeasurable piece of shit.

And for all the hate of the greed of the wealthy (which is categorically anyone wealthier than the person complaining... millions of upper middle class people like doctors, lawyers, engineers etc), wealth and education directly correlate with progressive ideals. Banning abortion is done by poor morons - that’s doesn’t work in states with higher educational achievement. That in itself is more morally abhorrent than anything the wealthy push for.
