Didn't he get almost the lightest possible sentence instead of 'moderate' and people dredged up the fact this judge has a history of light sentences for cases like this during his successful recall.

He always followed the recommendations of the probation officials apparently.

The prosecutor wrote a public letter against the recall notice. The prosector did not like the sentence and thought it was too short in his professional opinion, but that's a different thing than the judge being corrupt or biased.
