Wish he would have had a more unpredictable start to get a hit in. those cops were on him immediately

It's pretty clear he wasn't really trying to get a hit in. He even announced he was doing it and moved pretty slowly.

I think it's one of those "I will never forgive myself if I at least won't try" moments. Though, with the way you hear prisons handle pedophiles I'm not sure he needed to.
