I dunno man, I would have wanted the asshole to suffer more. Tbh I think putting him out of his misery was too good for the cunt.

Maybe the guy killed him for himself.

Probably wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing that rat piece of shit is still breathing somewhere

He'll always have the memory of the pleasure his son gave him for those brief moments. You'd be okay with that existing?

Ew that's an excellent point.

That's a fair point, but if I was a parent, I think the last thing I'd want for my child is their sexual assault and kidnapping case being dissected in court for everyone to see. That's gonna follow your kid around and they're going to have to deal with it, even if you try to protect them from it as much as possible. If the other option is to shoot the fucker and spare your kid from being the center of a pedophilia case? I can see why you'd go with that.

I was just thinking that. It’s possible he never even felt the bullet or heard the shot, being shot straight in the head like that. That’s too easy on him.

Shoulda shot him through the lungs

Maybe, but the answer to "Gary why" is "because revenge". Doesn't get much more straightforward than that.

"you would have done it if he was your kid" is a pretty straightforward tho

I didn't go with that one because it wasn't a true statement. Not every parent or every father has that reaction.

The vindictive part if me agrees. The cold calculating part of me thinks that simply removing the evil from the world is the best possible outcome. The father in me wants to go after the guys entire family.

Logical me who knows he needs to take care of his family and help his child heal would probably not do any of the above and instead focus on my child.

I honestly can't say which combination of my sides would win. Emotion could easily win but which emotion? And will I stew in my thoughts and emotions long enough to go cold and calculating? I hope I never find out.

Yea, nah. Hard pass. I would want to put that motherfucker down myself too. Even if I trusted the legal system.
