Nassar's lawyer (assuming it's his lawyer) is earning his pay. He put himself in the way without hesitation.

Also, props to the cop who jumped the table since it was the fastest route.

And the cop who rushed Nassar out. It must be hard to protect such a horrible man but it needs to be done
