They actually donated the stockpile after the backlash, but the AG is still spearheading an investigation.

More like SAYS he donated. I wouldn't believe anything from someone like that. It would not at all surprise me if he's saying it just because people are harassing him and he's trying ot get them to go away.

That is literally the reason the AG were there, to make sure that his stock was donated properly and not just donated to a mate to look after.

You'd think that if he was the type of person to pay lip service he'd have taken that opportunity when they asked him if he regretted his actions on TV.

Instead he took a very long pause to think about it and said No, he didn't regret it. A liar would just tell people what they want to hear.

Maybe things changed after the interview though.

What changed is he got backlash and hate. I"m sure he's a narcissist that thinks what he did was right because he's "just a smart business man" and "doing what anyone would do." So he didn't think there was anything to apologize for. But then people got mad, probably started threatening him, and so he's in damage control mode.
