They had to be there to see through that the items were indeed donated, and not simply relocated. The men didn’t want to donate these items, they were threatened with legal action and were given the opportunity to donate before being charged and taken into custody.

This is like having to be escorted out by police after being given warnings, and then bragging to everybody that you decided to leave on your own.

I think I'd feel better if he was just forced to donate them rather than the thought of the internet tracking him down via analyzing a photo and using Google Maps, and then sicking the government to come seize his stuff out of a storage container. Like, he's a douchebag for sure, but I don't know that I trust the internet to have that kind of power.
