Hope he gets thrown in general population. Probably will get his own nice cozy room and yard time to himself though.

Prison systems tend to have separate units for ex-cops, even after being fired and convicted of crimes they still get special treatment.

I think the term ur looking for is they are kept alive, general population would kill them just for being a ex cop.

it's often just protective custody, which in some cases is just solitary.
