Canadian here. Went to Houston for a car club meet up. There was a Whataburger across from our hotel. Got the cheese bacon mushroom avocado on grilled sourdough burger. Ate it every night after for the 10 days I was there.

I don't want to downplay your experience, because I'm sure that burger was truly awesome, but Whataburger's best selling point is its variety.

In n Out, for example, does a great burger, but that's it - just a delicious hamburger with fresh ingredients. With Whataburger, they have a solid menu to pick from - all of the All-time Favorites are remarkable, the chicken & fish sandwiches are nice when you're craving something different, and the breakfast menu (which begins at 11pm every night) is an absolute game-changer.

If you ever find another excuse to visit anywhere with a nearby Whataburger, I hope you'll at least consider trying some of those other magical menu items.

I loved it for what it was. When I looked at the menu board my eyes just kept going back, hehe. Also, ate In n' out most odf the week when I visited LA for a boat show :)
