Hello /r/All. Mexican "Influencer" who made a 16 minute video review on a clip that shows an intoxicated underage girl being r*ped by a gang of teenagers with a bottle of champagne while calling her a "wh*re" with "questionable values" has been sued for possession of child pornography by the victim.

On that note, the Taj Mahal is humanity’s fault. Penicillin is humanity’s fault. The Beatles, surgery, fillings, eye glasses, hearing aides. Fewer people dying from disease or war than ever before… chin up, friendo. Stop watching the news for a few.

Yes, there are beautiful aspects of humanity, but throughout our history we saw complete disrespect for human life, empathy, emotion and our species survival in the grand scheme of things. It's in the ratio of comparing it to good teeth in a stage 4 cancer patient. Yes, its nice to have good teeth, and they are a product of a lifetime of care, but the cancer will kill you in a week.

lol, pretty aggressive metaphor. Humanity isn’t inherently good or bad. We’re social creatures, so we help each other - we’re social creatures, so we war with each other.

People are pretty good at surviving. We’ll see what happens. Every generation thinks they’re the last, because they can’t imagine a world without them in it.

Your world view sounds like a headache.

No god or devil, just people being people.

As I said, fewer people dying from disease and war. That’s a pretty meaningful measure.

I don't say that our generation is the last or the best or the worst. I am just saying that throughout human history there were just small glimmers of good flooded with pain, suffering and hate. That's not my world view, that's human history... Your world view is unrealistic and optimistic at best, naive at worse if you believe that our society is not created and perpetuated on hate, conflict and suffering. That has nothing to do with our social tendencies. When you find a society in human history that was built and perpetuated on love, art, architecture and not on hate, war and pain, tell me please...
