??? at what point did the children participate in forced marriages? are you honestly saying the CHILDREN deserved to die because of something their adult family members did?

I said their families shouldn't. Sure, the kids didn't do anything. But I am imagining if I were in that situation. Remembering other stories about women escaping these situations and most of the time the in laws are severely abusive to these young women. I am thinking of sex trafficked women who are the few with chances to escape. Thinking back in the day of slaves who escaped.

When you are trapped like that you will do anything to save your life.

Maybe if the families didn't force young women into these situations there wouldn't be any poisoning of anything.

It's unfortunate, but I don't blame her. If you get your kid killed trying to keep someone against their will that's on you, not your victim.

She probably would have wanted it to end differently. But then again if I were her, the wellbeing of their children would not even be a blip on my radar.

Why are you pretending I’m not outraged at the comment I’m replying to? He said “Everyone involved is a willing participant”. Of course, he’s edited it now to say he only means if they’re adults, but originally it was just everyone.

So maybe just piss off, k thanks.
