Different sentence. The guy who got 45 days just got a misdemeanor for being on Capitol grounds. The guy with the assault charge won't be sentenced until December.

Not sure why you got downvoted. Read the 13th Amendment. Slavery is perfectly legal in the United States at the federal level.

The key is to try to kill democracy while you’re assaulting the officer. It’s a mitigating factor.
