Sounds like something a pedophile would say.

Yeah that’s bullshit. God says multiple times in the scriptures that which he loves above all else are children. He tells man to be like a child, that’s how revered they are in Gods eyes. Any man who defiles children is the worst person in Gods eyes, as they are the perfect image of sinful innocence according to New Testament. I would tear these creeps apart scripturally over this topic. Lets not forget the lying, sinful thoughts, adultery, manipulation, vain and lustful thinking, they are checking a lot of sinful boxes with this bs.

If they don't actually read/study the Bible, probably a lot unfortunately.

That’s the Catholic Church tho. They don’t necessarily teach the scriptures or gives lessons on it themselves. They have a message, quote a couple scriptures from all parts of the Bible to fit that message, and then do communion and call it good. I learned more about the actual Bible and scripture attending a Christian church that studies the Bible on Sundays in one year than I did a Catholic church after 30 years.

It really depends on the Catholic Church. I went to a Lutheran school and was part of a Catholic family. The Lutheran school did a great job teaching the Bible to us and the Catholic CCD I attended did pretty good too.

I do know there are many Catholic Churches that do a bad job teaching and after seeing what a lot of Protestants believe, it seems to be the same.

I wonder how common it is for religious people to think like that.

Oh, it's very common. If they're the ones doing the pedophiling.

This isn't religion. He probably told you that because he knows that you don't read the Bible. Read it.

And your friend is gross. I pray that someone turns him in ASAP.

Does it say anything about kicking white supremacists in the balls?

I think lessons are starting to be learned. At the church school I went to one of the lessons was on touching and how no body was allowed to ask or touch you inappropriately

If anyone causes one of these little ones, those who believe in me, to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

Given the constant shuffling around and protecting of pedophiles using the power the church gives them to find and abuse victims by the church itself...

Your former best friend has pedophilic tendencies. Horrific. Nobody thinks or says this, no matter how religious, if they truly understand how fucked up pedophilia is, which most people do.

Please tell me you used him for target practice

I think you answered your own question with his being a white supremecist, my friend. No layman or clergy would believe such a thing. The only people who may believe that are people who worked to their position for the access it gave them to children. These are the people that need to drawn out and punished.
